Yesterday. November 4, 2022, I had the opportunity to take my wife to see Engelbert sing live one more time to celebrate our 42nd. anniversary. This great singer, despite having physical problems, has not lost anything of his great voice. Best of all, my wife was thrilled to see her favorite singer so close to her. Time shouldn't go through this kind of stars that make us happy, and at the same time make us dream awake. Let's keep listening to Mr. Engelbert Humperdinck so that he will never be forgotten by the new generations.

In December 1976, my then-girlfriend introduced me to the world of the songs of this immense singer without equal. She and I got married in October 1980, and since then we have been together, having the fortune of having seen Engelbert sing live on two occasions. What a personality of a singer!

Who hasn't this happened to? Single, married, widowed people have had to go through the situation of loving someone who is out of their reach just because they fell under the influence of some beautiful eyes. The pain and desolation of not being able to tell that other person that we love him or her because the two parties may be married, or because of the rules of their workplace. What a desolation it is to feel that anguish when thinking about that loved one that our heart implodes, to immediately feel that one is suffocating, and end up with that blow to the stomach that is a symptom of impotence of not being able to shout "I love you". How hard it is to spend those sleepless nights thinking that despite the fact that the other person also loves us, we cannot shout it freely and never get close to each other. Whoever has felt this pain should know that they are not alone, because this situation can happen at any age.

Try to find things that you love in order to distract your heart and mind, especially at night. Those sleepless nights are the worst thing in this world. You are by yourself with your thoughts and nobody can help you, but I am sure you are a strong person and will overcome this pain. Take care of yourself!!

Ayer , 4 de Noviembre, 2022, tuve la oportunidad de llevar a mi esposa a ver a Engelbert cantar en vivo una vez más para celebrar nuestro 42° aniversario. Este gran cantante, a pesar de tener problemas físicos, no ha perdido nada de su gran voz. Lo mejor de todo es que mi esposa estaba encantada de ver a su cantante favorito tan cerca de ella. El tiempo no debería de pasar por este tipo de estrellas que nos hacen felices, y al mismo tiempo nos hacen soñar despiertos. Sigamos escuchando al Sr. Engelbert Humperdinck para que nunca sea olvidado por las nuevas generaciones. Reply

En Diciembre 1977, mi entonces novia me introdujo al mundo de canciones de este inmenso cantante sin igual. Ella y yo nos casamos en Octubre 1980, y desde entonces hemos estado juntos teniendo la fortuna de haber visto a Engelbert cantar en vivo en dos ocasiones. ¡Que personalidad de cantante! Mi querida esposa y yo todavia disfrutamos de estas hermosas canciones.

It is actually the other way around. the music is very heavily influenced by the song heir encore of Charles Aznavour. But the lyrics couldn't be more different

You should listen to the original song from his Argentinian creator Sandro, "Cómo yo te amo" I believe they stole part of his lyrics and melody and they recreate this song!! Too bad cos Sandro is dead now, but his song, How I love you is soo beautiful 😍 ❤ listen to it and I hope you like it!! 🙂🙃😉
