I love that you made this video. It was wonderful getting to talk to you in person about this during judging at OCC, but obviously you didn't have the time to go this in depth! This is a lot of detail!

Great job looks amazing. In regards to your helmet opening and closing when you accidentally hit the switch with your jaw. I was thinking maybe you could make some sort of kill switch somewhere else on the helmet to stop it opening or closing when you need it to stay in a certain position.

Love the suit brother! I am working on a MK85 right now. This might sound like a dumb question but how do you attach your bar magnets? I can’t seem to get them to stay stuck on the prints.

I’m planning on making an update video where I build a new Mark 20 helmet, everything I cover in that video should be useful for your build :) but eventually I’ll definitely get around to that helmet!

i took a look at it was like wait is that the mk 41 because of the color then i looked at the torso and thought it was a black and gold mk 7 then finally realized after looking at the helmet and legs it was the mk 20

My white whale it covering up seams when fusing pieces together. If you could make a vid dedicated to covering seams I'd greatly appreciate it. Right now I've been trying wood filler and bondo (not the spot putty (I should probably switch to spot putty)).

is there a link to the files for the legs? i really like how they look compared to the regular mark 7 legs and im currently making mine, i have the helmet, torso and one arm printed and now im looking to do the legs so i can throw it on the armor stand to start the foam fit process and i would really like to use the legs that you are using
@plentifulprops3d
@plentifulprops3d Жыл бұрын
Hey there! The legs are the part of the Mark 17 files by Do3D. You can’t buy them separately on their website but you can send them an email to arrange a deal for them :)

@@plentifulprops3d awesome thanks! Do you have a tutorial on how to make the legs fit the body and look like they belong to one suit? Your suit looks really clean and was wondering what modifications you had to do to make the legs fit the torso
@plentifulprops3d
@plentifulprops3d Жыл бұрын
I don’t currently have a tutorial on how to do it, but I’ll definitely consider it in the future! Using software like ArmourSmith or Meshmixer is useful to get an idea (basically import all the files of the suit and see how they look proportionately)

@@plentifulprops3d I actually have been using the armoursmith program and let me tell ya sometimes it makes me think my measurements are off because I’ll print something and it won’t fit and then I’ll print another thing and it fits perfectly.

@@plentifulprops3d I got the files and got the legs and cod to fit perfectly! at least on armour smith. would you consider doing a tutorial on how to size the shoes? whenever i put in the measurments for the shoes they come out kinda lopsided and crooked.
