I'd definitely be trying to fit every chop perfectly on grid and prolly overcomplicating the soundscape with extra instruments too, and that's not at allll what the beat needed. Time correction/quantize alot of us don't use. Reason being is due to the bop of the track u making just like Conductor pointed out. Also a lot of times quantizing the beat makes the track super stiff. No movement/no swing like bro pointed out
