Let's break down the rationale behind the formula we used to prepare 50kgs of the Chickmash and the proportions used: Whole Maize (WM) 20 kgs: Provides energy and some protein. Maize Germ (MG) 8 kgs: High in protein and fat, helps boost the protein content. Wheat Pollard (WP) 10kgs: A good source of fibre, protein, and energy. Sunflower (SF) 7kgs: Contributes to fat content and provides some protein. Soya (S) 4kgs: Rich in protein, essential for chick growth. Ochonga (O) 1 kg: Rich in proteins. Chick Premix (CP) 50g: Provides essential vitamins and minerals required for chick growth and development. Cocodiostat (CD) 50g: This is likely an additive to prevent coccidiosis, a common disease in poultry. NB: You can have different formulations with different ingredients, the focus was to use what was readily available at the farm. It's also advisable you liaise with a local Animal feed expert for better quality of your feeds.

Hello Isabella, I am happy that you found the video insightful. As for the machines, if you are based in Kenya you can easily liaise with Nyagah Engineering, and Muharata among others for fabrications.

@@isabellamatoli232They are based in Nairobi but they do have branches (showrooms) in Mombasa as well. But it's advisable to visit Nairobi HQ as that's where machines are fabricated before being shipped out.

Hello Abdi, based on the prices when we purchased them with 200k for the mixer and 150k for the feed mill and 150k for pelletizer you can get decent machines to process 250 kgs per hour. If you are in Kenya, there are several Agro companies (locally fabricated) you can get them from NYAGAH, Muharata among others.
