My name is Zach. I’m a third-year medical student in Philadelphia. I make videos about medical school, entrepreneurship, and other cool things. I love trying new things and often mess up. However, every time I screw up I usually learn something. Whatever I learn I post either on KZfaq or my website 🌐 (zhighley.com/).
I write a weekly newsletter 💌 (zhighley.com/newsletter/) linking the best things I read, watched, and listened to that week. Join the 1500+ that follow it every week!

"perform" is the most difficult step. planning things out is always easier because most of the time you want to do those things, at least ideally. But when the time comes to actually do the thing, you may feel tired, exhausted, distracted, overwhelmed, etc etc, which is what makes carrying out the plans so difficult.

This makes so much sense, when you workout you specify the days and the movements, and when you're on a program, you have a coach of some sort. You need back off / hard days. If you workout, you can just apply everything, making it very relatable

The best thing about Zach is that he both gives really useful information and is hilarious at the same time. Sometimes he does things that seem a little out of character (like fighting with a flashcard or reading a book upside down), but that's what makes this video golden.

At least to me, I only find this good advice if you’re life situation requires you to be maximally time efficient to meet your goals. You Zach, are in that category and are doing a great job of maximizing your time. This video is a fantastic explanation of the strategy that allows you to do what you demand of yourself. However, most people aren’t in this position. I’m a fairly productive person. It’s great to have goals and build healthy habits. But on the flip side, there is great value in relaxation and spontaneity in life. Most people won’t be able to hold themselves to this extreme standard and will be left feeling like they never achieved enough. Time to do nothing is a priority for me. And I believe most people would find it equally valuable.
@aesyamazeli8804
@aesyamazeli8804 2 жыл бұрын
All these advices are for people who don't have fulfilling life yet, and trying to achieve it. For example, I know a lot of mothers who their children is their whole fulfillment, their pride and their joy thus these kind of things are not needed for them. Some people are just lucky to achieve thier happiness early in life.
