The same thing kind of happened to me while filming with Doug and I felt like I didn't do a very good job so I added more at the end haha! You were really sweet with what you said in yours! Aww!! This is so sweet! Crazy you guys had such a short relationship, but when you know, you know! 😉👍🏼 I totally feel like I’m getting to know you, and I wish we could hang out in person and be “couple friends!” Thanks for all the creative date ideas! ❤️ My hubby and I met at a Camp when I was 8 and he was almost 13. For me, it was love at first sight...for him, well, he didn’t really notice I existed until I was 18, haha. It all worked out in the end!

That's so funny-you two met on the day my husband and I got married! My husband met online through mutual friends before we ever connected in person. And we were both homeschooled as well. :)

Your love story is so sweet and encouraging. Its refreshing to know that your husband wanted to "lock it down" soon after meeting you and was super intentional and proposed in 3 months.

Your hubby reminds me a bit of my own husband. We met at church and were friends for a few years before getting married, but he was in the Army for 4 years and was very confident about getting married while I was like, "Ah! We're so young!" LOL Such a sweet story. I was also confused at first when my hubby got down on his knee and my hair was a hot mess from being at a theme park all day! LOL So cool that both Abby (Lovely Thing's) and you met your husbands on Christian Mingle and had good experiences! They should sponsor y'all!

Annnnd I'm back! :) Christiana, I absolutely loved hearing your story! Doug is hilarious and seems super sweet. He surely made a beautiful effort to win your heart! I enjoyed hearing about his date ideas and how your feelings grew for him over time. I laughed so much when I heard your proposal story. You were so sweet to be concerned that he was falling! lol I can also relate to what you wrote on your profile about feeling like a person out of time. I've often felt that I was born in the wrong time! So much of the past, especially around the 1940s, draws me in. Only recently have I come to really appreciate this day and age! I think the internet has a big part to do with that. ;-) It was so fun to see all of your pictures. You've had such neat moments together and I'm sure that has continued on. Y'all are just too cute! Loved hearing your story! I met my husband online ☺ I remember chatting everyday online and then talking on the phone for the first time. He kept wanting to meet me but I was so not sure because of previous heartbreak. Finally I agreed and he was so nervous and shy he seem to talk my friend more. So I thought he liked her not me. So I was very surprised when I got a call from him wanting to get together again. First kiss was crazy because he was so nervous that he was shaking. We met March 2004 and got married August 19, 2006 we have 2 girls now. So your husband is very handsome 😊 are you guys wanting to have children?

Aww!! Thank you for sharing a snippet from your own love story, Heather-how beautiful! That is so cute that your husband was that nervous! Isn't it funny how that works; that it's easier to talk to some other stranger rather than the person you have a crush on?! I can understand why you were surprised when he called after he did that but I also can relate to that nerve-wracking situation that he was going through! haha! And yes! I find my husband to be the handsomest guy ever! Definitely a keeper ;) Yes! We absolutely hope to have children one day! Right now, we're trying to do our best to get our finances and all in order in the meantime! Neither of us are in a rush and are just enjoying the time we have, just the two of us right now (well, 3 including the dog ;) )! Thanks again for watching and especially for commenting! Where did he grow up? All of that looks so familiar. Such a cute love story. I was diagnosed with CFS years ago. Has this effected your marriage at all? He seems super nice and caring. Congrats. Wishing you guys years of happiness.

He grew up in Kansas. I’m sorry to hear about your CFS :( It has definitely effected our marriage at times!!! I am slowly finding what helps me and what makes me worse though and that is a huge thing! Sometimes I no longer feel fatigued at all and sometimes it hits me hard. I do believe there is a reason behind it for everyone and that you can get better though! I refuse to give up!!

Christy Lyn exactly I totally agree. I’ve been changing my diet. Following a more plant based diet and really allowing for rest and relaxation. I’m very type A and that doesn’t help. I wanna do it all abd accepting that I can’t always get everything done I wanna do in the time frame I want has been hard. I had to drop of of college several times. Finishing uo my B.A now at 42 because of this.

when i think of man-woman couples or heterosexual relationships, it reminds me of my lifelong hatred of how guys, men, always have to be the ones to make the first move or court women, do the asking out, etc.
