I wanted to create a video sharing how I opened my 600 sq ft salon including how I found my space, what legal stuff I had to do, and how much I spent on everything.

I have a question! So did you take a loan to “buy” the space? Or are you just renting the building? I was wondering how you can do remodeling with only being a renter or renting a space. I’m new to all of this, but want to open my own salon upon graduating!

Did you have to get a business loan or did you save up for this change

Thank you for the information. I'm a hairdresser for 10 years in Turkey and i have a 230ft² salon. I haven't a rent. Property belongs to my family. I opened in January 2018. Its so new :) . And I spent to 20.000 TL. It was around $ 5000 at the time. Our country is experiencing economic problems after 2002... the consequences of economic problems are getting harder. In 2002 one dollar was 1.25 tl and now 6.00 tl. Everything we use like hair dye, shampoo, foils, etc is imported. learning about the status of my colleagues in other countries is very important to make comparisons on behalf of my country. Thank you again and wish you success :)

Can you do a video on how you can pay the rent of your salon with no clients to start? Like would you have to get a night job or something

$ 20k that's cheap. About the price of a new economy type car. No impact fees?

I currently rent a suite at Salon Republic. I wanted to expand and found a 650sqft space, but had to walk away because I CLEARLY underestimated everything involved. This gave me new hope to start my search again soon. Thanks and keep up the good work.....

I really have been pushing back my passions because I wanted a career that pays a lot but I decided that I’m getting my cosmetology license in highschool. I really love the beauty industry! So I’m going for my dreams 🥰
