In this video i'm going to show you how I paint vibrant autumn color en plein air, observing the colors and tones directly from life and translating them into color on the canvas. We'll look at color theory and apply it to this plein air painting demo. I'm using oil paint on this one but you can use any painting medium you're comfortable with. I also use a few extra colors on the palette which may have been a bit much, and we talk about some palette organization and some tricks to help you nail tonal values and color theory.
