I love seeing your b roll behind the scene shots, it really goes to show that there are no special or hidden techniques, its all about just knowing how to use your own gear and framing that shot well!

I have a 5 yr old nephew and I make all of his videos, I edit them and I film them, learning this Broll techniques really made a huge difference. Thanks a lot.

Everything Daniel does is so damn smooth! I also love how he breaks down his process since it can be very easy to get lost and off-track when you're trying to film anything, let alone an epic b-roll sequence.

Cool. Love the sound of the metal straw on the glass and the transition from blending to filling up the glass. Plus the blade scene transition to spinning the top on epic.

The blending merging into pouring was so nice.

The list prior is super important ! Gives you a check list of everything you need ! Great advice

Wow. Just watched all. Again, super impressed. Wow.

Step 1 is to write down all the objects and items that are going to appear in your video. Step 2 is to write down all the actions that you can do with said objects. Step 3 is to create a shot list around those actions that will serve as a rough guide, and... Step 4 is the fun part and that is filming the video and getting those transitions. Note: A lot of it is done on the fly but this will hopefully make it a lot easier. Step 6: Sound design.

So so informative!! The way you wrote down the object list and different actions in which you could film those.

This was mind blowing! Saved it so I can come back and watch again. Great stuff for people like me who are getting started.

Love your channel. You make everything crystal clear, and I don't feel talked down to. I don't know what it is, but there's a subtle condescending energy in the tutorial videos on many of the other channels. I don't know if the content providers are even aware of it. Or maybe because they're trying to be just a little bit too clever, original, or witty. Or maybe I'm just too sensitive.
