You're very welcome ! & girl you got this ! I used DECOR Flores & Gazebos. I would definitely recommend them you are going to get major bang for your buck. I won't lie the communication gave me a little anxiety because of the language barrier but she did a great job ♥️

Great video! I am planning/already booked our trip for this November. I know this resort is family friendly and focused on that but did you notice a lot of children there?

I honestly have been to this resort a couple times and I never noticed a bunch of kids granted I'm not looking for them or in the more family style areas either

thanks so much for this video! super helpful and informative. is there a reason you chose outside vendors? i understand for decor and what not but were the photographers/djs included at finest just not very good?

It seemed long enough to me, however I had the 5 PM slot so I didn't have the option to extend even if I wanted to

Hi! Check out part 2 for a more in-depth response about outside vendors but long story short I LOVED the style of my videographer and photographer and the price difference wasn't substantial 💕

This was very helpful, thank you. When you receive your marriage license from Mexico, do you then submit it to your local marriage license agency in the state you live in?

You need to be married before you have your ceremony in Mexico. Recommend going to courthouse in US before.

So glad that you found the video helpful! I chose to do a symbolic ceremony, which means I got married in the states first. You can actually get married on that day legally in Mexico but I don't know all the protocols. (I do know that it is a bit more complicated and I believe requires bloodwork.) definitely don't quote me on that. Lol.

Hi! Thank you so much for all of the helpful information. I was just wondering who did you message to confirm your wedding location? I’m starting to get confused with all of these people they’re handing me over. We our confirmation for our wedding 2 weeks ago. The sales rep told me that it’s the group and wedding manager now that’s helping me but I haven’t heard back for 2 weeks. Is that the person I need to email for the ceremony/reception location? Thanks!!

Hi! Trying to find a good DJ at an affordable price lol. Would you recommend DJ Doremaxx? Or should I keep looking?

He is definitely affordable and comes highly recommended by a bunch of other brides. However, I will say that he played the Spanish version of my husband's mother/son dance and couldn't fix it which definitely ruined the moment. Other than that he was fine.

Hello did the resort not have a designer? They gave me a list of items that could be rented I’m having my ceremony there in October and I wasn’t sure if they did or didn’t.

Hi, did you get a wedding planner outside the resort? Because I'm looking at wedding planners but they are charging me like 4,000. I'm just not sure if I should spend the money, or the wedding planner provider from the resort is fine?

I planned everything by myself start to finish and once you get to the resort obviously you will meet with your wedding coordinator. I think that it is more than doable to do by yourself. I totally would not spend that money on a wedding planner.

Can I ask why you got a vendor for the tent? Did the hotel not provide dance floor etc?

Hi! If you do your wedding on the beach they pretty much only provide table and chairs (as of 2022)

What was the cost of the DJ, flowers, photographer, and videographer for your wedding? What budget did you give yourself for the dress, tux, makeup, hair, jewelry, shoes, wedding bands, etc.? Thank you!!! Stuck between this resort and THE FIVES. Did that resort come up on your search too?

Hi! I go over all of the pricing of the vendors I used in this video. I also lumped all of my wedding expenses into 1 budget if that makes sense. Hope this helps!

Hi! I know this is a super late comment to your video! I requested information for this resort. They had said my entire group has to stay 3 nights minimum. Is there anyway around that?

I am not quite sure, when I booked my wedding that wasn't the rule I think it was only 90% of my guests had to stay at the resort. The only rule regarding three night stay was that it was required to be counted towards your concessions.

It varies depending on the length of stay and room type but I would say on average like $1200-1800

Did you have any issues with communication? I requested to book our wedding 10 days ago and have sent two requests without a response 😢 Any tips?

Communication was quicker in the beginning and then got increasingly slower as time went on. However, I have been hearing with a lot of the 2023 and 2024 brides that initial communication is very slow now as well. I'm sorry I wish I had more advice for you. Just be patient, they will definitely get back to you.

I am dealing with the same issue. I emailed the sales rep asking about a certain date, she responded back after about a week that the date wasn’t available, I emailed her back with another date, she emailed back days later saying it also wasn’t available. It’s a very slow and frustrating process. If anyone knows how to get ahold of someone by phone or a quicker approach, please let me know! Thanks for the tips and advice in your video! It was all super helpful as I pull the budget together.

@@bigles20ify I hate how slow they are being but it is so worth it in the end! Next time you get an email ask for ALL the dates available for maybe 2 months that you could see yourself getting married in. Then give her 2 or 3 dates from the bunch that you would be willing to do.
