Hi, thank you for this video! I have a few questions. 1. If you don’t mind sharing, around what range did your wedding cost? (I’m trying to plan my wedding and we aren’t sure how much it would cost to have a simply wedding in DR vs the US) 2. Is it true that the guests have to pay for fees when going to a destination wedding? I heard that there are built in fees in the room charges?

Hi! I don't mind sharing at all! The original package was about $5,000, but after adding specific requests for decor, music, lighting, etc., it went up to about $15,000 total - 100 guests included! But this also came with a few free nights, a hair & makeup trial for me, rehearsal & rehearsal dinner for the wedding party, a welcome party for all of the wedding guests the night before, and the resort took care of setting up everything for you on the wedding day. So it was worth it for us after doing the cost comparisons! I don't think that the guests had to pay extra fees for where we stayed, though I'm not sure about other resorts. We stayed in Live Aqua Punta Cana - I'd recommend it! :)

Hi Natalia! Of course! Since the wedding was destination in a resort, most of the guests just paid for a room in the resort for about 3-4 days! Other than that, they didn’t pay anything else- our wedding package included a total of 100 guests! If they stayed outside of the resort, the front desk had the list of our wedding guests to let them in the day of for free! ☺️
