I love your videos and find them so helpful. Just started my candle business and getting everything in place. I thought making the labels would be one of the easiest steps. But as it turns out it hasn't been! I have a Canon Pixma MG3022 printer...have had it for 4 years...no issues...has worked great. Until now when I try to print labels. I have been at this for about 3 weeks now. I have called Onlinelabels and they told me they've never seen this issue before and suggested I contact Canon. Problem is printing 3" round Kraft labels. 6 on a page. The bottom two get cut off! However, when I print the 3" square Kraft labels (6 on a page also) they print just fine. This is holding me up from getting my candles photographed and online to sell. I have been thru all the settings and preferences and tried every option possible. When I Googled the printing problem I see this has been an issue with the printer for many years. I'm considering getting a different printer. Erica, you mentioned that Johnny from Onlinelabels recommended a printer. Can you tell me what printer it was? Thank you in advance. I appreciate your time.

Man these ideas help. I designed label and uploaded it to a printing company for 25 bucks for 100, but then I realized I have 10 scents and each label is different with the scent names and it would cost me almost 300 dollars to print the labels threw them. Now I see I can just do it at my own. Thanks.

One suggestion.....maybe try the label wizard. It really helped me place labels straight EVERY TIME. No more crooked label placement

When I filmed this video I still had my inkjet printer, and I used the regular glossy labels. Currently I actually use the weatherproof polyester labels with my laser printer ☺️

My jar candles labels are horizontal due to a background image. But I don't see where (on Maestro/Online) where I can rotate to a vertical for my wax melts. Or even the option to do a vertical instead of horizontal. Can you advise me where to find this. Loving your channel as always! You're really helping me understand this all. I use online gloss for inkjet labels and they mark and scratch so easily. I have it on gloss leaflet setting on my hp laptop. I print all black labels with white writing. I’d appreciate any advice??

I think that depends on you which size you want your label to be cos all candles ain’t the same size, some are bigger, also you can choose to use the same size she used provided your candle size is same as hers😊

Great video. Thank you for sharing. I am looking into printing my own candle labels from home using my regular ink jet printer. Which type of label would you recommend between the matte, glossy, and weathered proofs ones? The matte and glossy is most budget friendly but I don't know if it would cause issues if people put their candles in their bathrooms. I'm leaning toward the matte labels because of cost and I like the look of matte, but would the ink smudge more if the labels get wet or is placed in a humid area like the bathrooms vs the glossy one? I would really appreciate it if you can tel me the pros and cons of each type of label. Thank you so much.

I like the dimensions of this label. I’m offering two sizes in my candles. And im wondering to eliminate having a 2.5x2.5 and a 3x3 for the larger one. And use this size for both ?? This would definitely cut down cost.

I use online labels and use maestro label designer from them to print! It could affect the alignment, you’ll have to just play around with it, it can be challenging sometimes

from the design website, i'm a little confused on what you pay, is it per design or do you pay to buy the program? it asks to create an account and then the activation code you don't get until purchase?

You have to purchase the blank labels in order to receive an activation code to use the program
