Most of the settings in the Graphics tab is for labtops or low end hardware. Using Frame Gen and VSR just causes more latency

I think the 24.6.1 drivers are a litle bit shader cache worse "many stutters" than the previus, you can feel it in some fps games, you can always check Ancient Gameplays channel, he makes real good content about Amd Gpu´s, and he is fair in his analizes. Keep up bro.

You missed the Grapics/Gaming tab, frog. That's where all the magic happens in my opinion... Also, a cool experiment is comparing AMD's highest texture filtering settings to Nvidia's. I hope you do a quick part 2 where you tackle the Graphics tab as well!

@@frogboyx1Gaming Yeah man makes the colors super poppy. Looks great on the majority of things I've noticed on things with a lot of red its super intense lol then ill knock it back about 10-15 clicks and its beautiful

I'm starting to really like it the more comfortable I get with it and get in there and tinker with it lol especially super handy on these handhelds I'm also loving RIS setting so cool so many things I can do to get the perfect image I want on the GO's beautiful screen

I noticed the density thing when I swapped out the 2060 for the xtx in AC Valhalla. I took screenshots at the same location same save, settings and resolution. I swear I can see rendering differences.

The HDR calibration tool isn't that great, with my 1500 nit display the cross on the box doesn't disappear until i drag the slider to around 2700 nits, sometimes it's best to just ignore the instructions and set it to the value your display is advertised for.

It depends on the game and what you like. HDR is highly subjective. I personally like the more vibrant colors that HDR can produce.

I'm not touching the 24.6.1 Drivers atm🤣 I can't play FIFA 24 without input lag and stutters for 4 seconds. Had to roll back to 24.5.1 Fabio from Ancient gameplays said they have mucked up the shaders this month which is why for certain games It's happening in FC 24, Fortnite and games like that I'll wait until 24.7.1 before I think about upgrading, bit annoying so AMD have wound me up this month with that lol

I am running the new drivers and not having any issues. Delete them and reinstall them. If you update from the app sometimes it messes with the drivers. I always just delete and re-download the new drivers

@@frogboyx1Gaming Trust me Frog it's AMDs fault this time. Fabio even tested it himself Whole AMD community talking about it on their forums with FC 24. It depends on what games you're playing and for me it's effected one of my major games It's also happening on Battlefield V I think I did everything to try and fix it but it's the drivers because when I roll back it's so smooth on FIFA

TBF it's probably the only big issue on AMD i've ran into since those bad drivers near launch that kept freezing Adrenalin. Nvidia are having their own issues also with some drivers, I think it was part of the FSR 3.1 update

Haha don't tell the NVIDIA fanboys, "Graphically Challenged" channel on KZfaq just put out a video reviewing his first year after getting rid of his 4090 and switching to the 7900 XTX and calls out the issues with NVIDIA drivers, some still ongoing. Some FrogBoy has mentioned.

The Nvidia control panel is way more intuitive and ez on the eyes. Also Nvidia GPU’s use way less power. So a true AMD fan would use AMD CPU 70watts and a 4080-4080 250-400watts but way more performance and features you will likely use. Cause why would I run 7900xtx that uses 400watts but is much slower than a 4090 at same power.

Yeah I don't use HYPR RX because you end up with the old FSR 1.0 upscaler in game rendering which looks worse than the in game FSR. I remember trying it on Cyberpunk & it makes image quality more shimmery on hair, buildings stuff like that You'll get more performance however!

Consoles arent bad despite its hardware. A used $250-300 ps5 or xboxsx is a good buy.

@@gopackers848 7900 xt and 4080s are not mid tier. A 4090 has all the exact same issues all Geforce have with displays and colors, once you hit a certain limit of pixels and frames itS more pain than gain especially if you're using an OLED.
