When you asked what that one side of the living room needed my first thought was curtains with more contrast. You could go with the material you showcased if you're really feeling it, but I'd probably look at something darker to balance out those dark pictures over your couch.

Hey Evan! Unsure if you'll ever see this, but I've only recently started trying to monetize my photography with which I have 7 years of experience, and obviously, it won't happen in an instant. So I was feeling a bit down about it today and sort of just, doubting myself, and how much I even like doing it (ridiculous - it's one of my favourite things in the WORLD), etc etc. Anyway it took exactly 1:25 minutes of this video for me to calm down and remember exactly why I'm doing this and that I do love it, and your content just overall gives me a lot of hope, motivation, and tools. And I jut feel very good and content even though a few minutes ago I was nervous and sad. Thank you a lot for every single video that you do.

Hey Evan! Always appreciate your authentic way to talk with your audience. Too many influencers are just out to make a quick buck. You inspire me to continue pushing and learning more about photography. When do you believe an amateur photographer like myself should try to start selling prints? I just reached 1k followers today on IG and am thinking about starting a website. I am just worried about failing. Thank you again for your insights and great vid!

Protip on national parks, camping is extremely affordable and usually abundant if you're traveling in the shoulder seasons. Getting a quality backpacking setup will give you the ability to bring your lodging with you on flights and really adds to the experience of "getting out there".

@@RanftEvan I don't look at this space and think something is missing. Those walls with the windows are a nice break of not having anything on the wall compared to the other walls in this room. If you didn't have that wall shelf back there, then I would feel like something was missing. Things like changing that dome light to a new fixture could make a difference

I enjoyed the video Evan. If you do ever sell presets, not that my opinion matters, but Ide say just do it in a way that reflects your ethos. How you always emphasize the importance of finding your owl editing/coloring style as it reflects personal choice and expression. How you do that is up to you, but I think it would be important. Part of your observable appeal/differentiating factors, as someone that consumes your content, is the non-commercialized feel to your artwork, as opposed to content made by creators such as Peter McKinnon, for example. Peter drops presets, sells his viewers a lot of shit, and after it all, it just makes me not want to subscribe to his ecosystem. Just some food for thought, though I understand in practice we all do need to make money at the end of the day.

Travel? So that is that thing you often do on planes right?
