I like this format because of the substance and how engaging you are. I also enjoy BTS videos; hard for a wedding but maybe you could do it at a rehearsal.

Ok, I NEED to contribute - listening to you as a "podcast" while working on my wedding photos - I kind of have the very same story to tell - I am always an uplifting spirit on any wedding and want to deliver 200% on every aspect I can (many times I stay also till 3am in the morning still shooting, I just literaly dont care - I love what I do and the only thing I care about is to make the clients happy and leave them with a smile)... and to become the best wedding photographer in my country... :D :D I believe this burning desire I've build in myself is just shooting me to a new heights every year like no effort needed. I believe if you truly want something like there is no turning back from it and think about it, imagining different scenarios you like... you will get it. I know I cannot transfer this to people who did not experienced this, but I have witnessed it on myself many times. Great vid Chelsea! You are truly speaking my mind. Lots of love from the Czech republic!

@@ChelseaNicole it definitely was, websites I've never even heard of before until you mentioned it. Thanks again! On another note, Ive been thinking about your classes and maybe diving into it deeper by enrolling but I'm not sure, my gear is a bit mismatched and my shooting style is very different from before mostly going all manual focus

If you’re second shooting for a photographer that won’t let you use images for your portfolio, you need to run. Anyone that has shot with me can use their work for their book. A handful of second shooter shots from one of my weddings is great to represent their work not mine and it will allow them to eventually go off on their own. As saturated as our market is, I continue to book weddings and because I also shoot for Biz Journals I continue to get commercial freelance work. There is plenty of work out there and if I loose a bid from weddings or commercial job then I either didn’t get the rate I deserve or they went with someone they loved and connected with their energy and book and who can fault them. Young photographers out there, follow wonderful channels like this and ones that are uplifting and positive, shoot your buns off and live and breath photography everyday! Go outside your comfort zone and push yourself by setting up goals and mini shoots etc.! You get pass that hurdle and the rest will follow! 🙌🏼✌🏼
