And I'm having the same problems any advice. I really could use some. I'm only 59 years old. I was a passenger in a car wreck that tore both my knees. I guess what hurts the worst is. I didn't do this to myself but god makes no mistakes in his kingdom

Not sure if you need this craft hack but my girl friend has a below knee amputation. Riding/driving is uncomfortable because her dangling leg makes her upper leg fall asleep. The prop pillows for this are super expensive but I bought a small ceiling fan just for the blades. Padded them with the perfect amount of old yoga mat (aka kids used foam puzzle matt) and then made cloth covers from old sheets. Fits in next to the seat of the car, and they were so cheap she keep them in a bunch of cars or other places where she can't use the fake leg as a tuffet. I can't figure out how to make extra sleeves though. It's horrible that medicare is so stingy with coverage on these!

I met a girl in our local area that is an amputee. She had the coolest prosthetic I had ever seen. I learned that an amputee can only get one leg per year. She said the pry she had was that after wearing them for a long period during the day, her leg swells and causes the prosthetic to cut into the leg making it very uncomfortable. She said that because of this one needed two per day. She bought herself a 3D printer and started making her own. She even makes them to match her dresses. I was so impressed.
