Here is my ruby amethyst decklist that I've been playing in my local Lorcana tournaments, and I've won every one of them. This deck list is very powerful. You should give it a shot. Play the best meta deck.

One thing I think that would help increase subscribers and like is if you post a link to the decklist for Pixelborn users. A lot of people see awesome decks like yours and want to try right away but don't want to skip around in your video and add the cards one by one.

thank you I love this deck my biggest issue is the elsa I dont have it and it feels like such a major part of the deck it stinks should I try to build something else? or what is a substitute I could use for now until I get the Elsas

I think 3 rafeki and some Zeus is prolly a little better to deal with emerald / Amber mid range. Zues also quests for 2 lore late game.

Small elsa is key at exerting creatures so you can kill them before they quest

Interesting to see Brooms without Mickey. Jafar is also interesting. The cards been pretty meh for me. Having small Aladdin to compliment Rafiki has been awesome.

what are your thoughts on playing 2-3 daredevil goofys? maybe for the mirror? for 5 cost and 2 lore I think it'd be somewhat of a surprise as opposed to playing Brave Little Tailor for 8 . I think you can bait out those dragon fires early. but Idk :3 just some thoughts.

1. would you recommend 4 of the 2/2s in every control deck? I'm running amethyst/steel and you'd probably agree that hook & eric are better when in steel, right? 2. so the 2 brooms are mainly to target each other so you don't deck out? 😅 that's really an issue in comp? :o would you ever keep it in opening hand? What if you don't have many of the bomb cards (like only 1 elsa, be prepared, or maleficent), would you say that brooms are better used to recycle those? 3. and no broom mickeys cause only 2 brooms I guess? 4. Only 1 jetsam has felt enough for you to deal with elusive? I feel like I am forced to put 3 to have a chance .-. 5. Rafikis over Zeus? Could you speak to that? I was the biggest rafiki enjoyer until I discovered Zeus and then swapped them all for zeus. I feel like 4dmg gives you much more answers (kuzco, mad hatter, jasper, belle, robin hood mainly), and questing for 2 is strong...but I they do die a lot after dealing with the first enemy, and i guess maybe you are only supposed to quest with the big drops anyways? 6. How do you feel about befuddle? seen it in many lists to slow down aggro cause it slows down more than having to play a response, wait a turn, and then trade now that they have inked once already 7. in general, how do you feel about a control deck without Ruby? I feel like Dragonfire/Maleficent/Be Prepared/Aladin are just TOO GOOD, that if you aren't running Ruby you are at such a heavy disadvantage over those that are... I wanna make Amathyst/Steel work, but I feel like against ramp for example there is jsut nothing you can do if they drop a big card or a big elusive, you have to have rush + smash or so or you're fcked 8. so you're at 18-19 un-inkable, is that just a skill thing that you can deal with that? cause I feel like 15-16 is already a hard limit for me not to have bad mulligans and get screwed by not being able to ink a card each round Finally I was wondering, if you could make a video about how to play aggro and control in Lorcana in general? It's so different from other games, cause aggro can often still get a quest off before you deal with them, so it feels like they jsut run over me and have 10-12 lore before I have cleaned up the board and can start questing myself. I think I am trading too much, so maybe you have some advice on how to know when to trade vs quest n stuff 😅

1. If you're running steel, Hook & Eric are 100% better. 2. When playing against Ruby/Amethyst with a Ruby/Amethyst deck (a mirror match), quite often someone will deck out. The brooms prevent you from decking out causing you to win the match up. If you draw them in any other match-up, they're typically just used for ink. If I'm not playing the mirror match, I typically only play the broom if I'm desperate for a 2 drop on turn 2. 3. In a control deck you don't want to play a card that is only good if you draw another card with it (example mickey is only good if you have a broom). You will lose more often because you've drawn into mickey without brooms. 4. Four Dragonfires, 3 Be Prepared, and 3 Monstourus Dragons make 1 jetsam enough. 5. You want to play Rafiki on turn three because it deals with Simba, or any other early game threat that yellow has to offer. If you play Zues on turn 4 to kill Simba/Lilo, you're letting your opponent get three more lore at least, but likely even more. When I play against Yellow/Green I typically win with my opponent at 17-19 lore. If my Rafiki was a Zues, I would lose to my opponent gaining that three extra lore. TLDR: Rafiki is better because you can play him earlier. 6. I haven't tried befuddle because it seems bad to me, but a lot of people are having success with it. If I wanted to give it a shot, I'd replace the three lefou with three befuddle. 7. Because Ruby is the only color with hard removal ("Banish target character") Ruby is required for a control deck. With a Steel/Amethyst deck you'd want to build it more Mid-range. Your goal would be to win around turn 8 or 9. Control decks are all about dealing with opponent's threats efficiently (typically using 1 card to deal with 2 cards your opponent has. Like using Be prepared to kill to characters). It's hard to make efficient plays when you don't have any hard removal for large end game characters. 8. It gets rough at times, but I manage to pull through. I definitely want to make a guide on how to play each deck, but I don't know how to go about it. It's hard to balance good education with entertainment. It's something I've had on my mind for a while.

I played a version of this deck in a 4 player game. My buddy built one with proxies and during one game we all swapped decks and I got handed a red/purple control deck. He had Zeus and not Rafiki, no brooms, no ursula and no Mickeys. I ended up doing well with it, but only because one of the 4 players was playing Steel and there was no aggro decks. Elsa saved my day when I was able to Deep Freeze a Belle that was going to quest for 5 and end the game before I could get my last 3 lore. I think I'm going to build a control deck based on this video with the cards I have. I only have 1 elsa, 2 ursualas, and 2 maleficent dragons. I do have 4 mickeys though. Would adding in extra Mickeys be the best bet? Or woukd something like the 7 cost Dr Facilier perform better do you think?

I think adding a second mickey and a dr facilier are good options. I'd replace the Inkable cards you don't have with mickey and the non inkable cards with Dr facilier.

Its wild to me you keep talking about the aggro mu but play zero befuddle Like you just mulligan aggressively to befuddle and gaston and if u dont need them you just ink them

Lorcana is not terribly complex, but not really a good example of a complex strategy tcg either. If this game wasnt disney, it would be ignored. Also, please use game terms, you are saying aggro decks, and theres no attacking in this game, you say tap and thats mtg, you say mana and thats mtg, sounds like youd rather be playing mtg 😆
