When we think of role models, the first people who come to mind tend to be influential figures such as professional athletes, actors, musicians or political leaders. Nevertheless, regular people are also role models for the people around them. You have role models, but you are also a role model for others. This begs a few questions: Do we require role models and if so, how important are they? In other words, do we need someone to admire or "look up" to in order to succeed? Today's discussion analyzes these questions and attempts to provide some insight into this debate.
