Isn't it wild to feel so blissful and centered when the world around you seems quite insane? I'm married, but other than my husband I have very limited contact with other humans. This seems fine and even healthy to me, despite the common belief that we need others and shouldn't be isolated. I share my world with many living creatures; they needn't be human.

It begins when we learn to love our authentic self without conditions attached…. This opens many doors…

I listen everyday to Eckhart Tolle, and am reading The Power of Now for the second time. I have done many many different work in this life from trial lawyer to metal scrapper. To you reading this: please take care ❤️ It’s ok if you are feeling overwhelmed. Just know that there’s light at the end of the tunnel. All you have to do is making a tiny step every day in the right direction, by making positive choices. Spend time in nature, exercise, eat healthy, reach out to friends and family, socialize. Yes, when you are feeling depressed even getting out of bed seems daunting, but I promise you; if you make an effort in doing these things, you will feel better.

Seeing my life as a spark - like Eckhart describes it here - helps me letting go of the heaviness I sometimes experience. This perspective makes me feel lighter and I can go on more playful and more loving.

All that what we tend to accumulate in life turns to grist for the mill of time.. life is at best a journey towards simplicity, towards quietness, towards a kind of joy that is not in time. It’s a journey that has taken us from primary identification with our body and our psyche, ultimately beyond any personal identification with an illusionary self build solely from impressions, emotions, feelings, experiences, ideas, beliefs and cultural conditionings.

Speaking of movies...in 1984 the movie "The Terminator" came out. In an early scene with Sarah Conner (a charter in the movie) she is at work and she is having a bad day...I little kid dumps a scoop of ice cream into her apron ( she is a waitress at a restaurant) and her co worker walks by and leans over says "look at it this way honey, in a hundred years who's gonna care?" I must say that scene has stuck with me for all this time! It really sums up wat he is saying!! Don't sweat the small stuff...and it's all small stuff, lol.

This helps. My wife is a bit of a sociopath and /or got anger issues (got worse after we got a kid), but I can't leave her as she would then have our 2 year old daughter half the time, and I would never trust her with our child by herself, meaning I have to stay with her. Being present helps.

In the end where he mentions that story of a person who undergo all of those things, I don't if it was realization or what, but came to me this, that the person who experienced life in this way was still comparing himself to others and was "blindes" by the ideals where he forget or was unconcious of himself /herself as a being and that lead to a consciuesness awakening, the point is.. How many of us is living this way, and even if someone just tell us this is the path or this is the way things are many of us wouldn't listen.. Just briliant how everything works.. But the truth is that, this is a part of journey or a process, because we are not evolving as a physical forms, but also as individual consciuesness and soul as well...

Between living and dying there is only a gap. Fill up the gap by realisation that we are part of a bigger whole and we can reconnect with all the living entities which walked on the earth for the past millions of years and beyond.
