The human over-population the root cause of the tragedy in India. Not to mention a host of other socioeconomic problems we face today. In 1947, the population of India was close to 320 million. India has added another 800+ million since then. And somehow magically, its citizens expect a supply system that should periodically adjust to a large population's demands of goods and services? China is the only country on the same scale and has done a better job at achieving order/governance. Then again, they have earned it by brute force. Not to mention all the industrial activity has resulted in large-scale environmental damage - water/air/soil for which all of us will pay sooner or later. In comparison, the population of the U.S in 2021 is close to 330 million. The total land area is about 3.5 times that is of India, and an economy that is many times bigger. Picture India in 2021 if it were around 500/550 million people.

The 2nd wave was of such a huge magnitude that no one ever expected that such type of destructive wave could hit India. I remember that in 2020, Britain's Healthcare system was on the verge of collapsing. And compared to Britain's wave, this 2nd wave in India is at least 100 times more dangerous. Should have added that Govt started relaxing after vaccination started on 16th January 2021. Also to be noted, the so called super spreder event where they happened those areas are still to be hit by second wave. The biggest surge of cases happened in the state of Maharashtra and Delhi where none of the political rallies as well as religious festivals took place. Agreed with the last part of the video where they said, everyone thought covid was over, because everyone in India would have told you same if you had asked them in January.

It's absolutely stupid to say that covid cases only increased in Delhi and Mumbai. Turns out only Delhi and Mumbai kept on testing for covid. The other states were self patting themselves for having defeated covid under the leadership of Modi.

We were just overwhelmed we doctors were going crazy by so so many patients without enough manpower I felt so helpless so many times at work it's not a good feeling. It sucks to work in lack of resources lack of oxygen , faulty ventilators , lack of medicines. Only making it difficult for us.! Anyways cases are coming down now but ICUs are still full where I am working and that might explain why death toll is sitll rising 😞

Lots of lies and half truths with same political motive of targeting Modi who has been Indias most popular leader in long time. In reality this is what happened in India. I know because I live here and saw everything with my own eyes 1. Lockdown only lasted first 3-4 months. By August 2020, restrictions were eased & in a country of nearly 1.4 billion social distancing is impossible. 2. But despite lack of social distancing things were not bad until December 2020. 3. Between November and December more than 65000 ppl came from UK and brought UK variant with them. This was widely reported in Indian media and you can refer to them. During Jan and Feb these NEW variants which are more powerful started spreading and mutating and by mid March (exactly 12 months after first wave) India got hit by 2nd wave and that crippled the health system But it's funny that even after this American media is NOT criticising Joe Biden who is openly asking Americans to not wear masks after vaccination. This is same callous behavior but nobody in America will point that as American has worlds biggest corrupt media.
