The recency part gets to me. Almost like anything even slightly old will fall into the forgotten abyss. As an artist tons of hours go into a single image so that kinda sucks...

Yeah but you can create a dozen or so images out of that one piece. Post progress photos. Post it started. Half done. Almost done. Fully done. Post it fully done hanging on the wall, make prints and post the prints. Post someone holding a print etc
