What Is The Minority Mindset?
The Minority Mindset has nothing to do with the way you look or what kind of family you're from. It's a mindset.
Give the majority $200 and they will come back with a pair of shoes. Give the minority $200 they will come back with $2,000.
Think from the mindset of a consumer and be the provider, that's the Minority Mindset. Don't be the majority. #MIH #ThinkMinority #StockMarketInvesting

Interest rates can effect so many things. The market is pricing in a rate drop so that can make the market rise in the short term but that could also cause other things like inflation and growth. And the yield curve is flat if not inverted. It’s interesting, just remember to do your research 😁

How to calculate your effective rate of return for your dividends might be a good thing to know. As for m'self, I use a weighted average, so that my ROR is known figure. Granted, the returns I'm calculating is based on TTM (Time over Twelve Months). However, it helps to keep it current. I only measure dividend returns over the past 5 years when selecting new stocks - but for my own performance, only using the last twelve months as a yardstick means that my average is closer to what the market is actually doing in the now; and returns from say 1985 or 2005 or 2015 are not introducing errors. Past performance is not a guarantee of future success, but evaluating current performance over the last twelve months eliminates seasonal bias (supply/demand/other) and day to day rises and falls. Finally, I only research and sequence new dividend-bearing stock purchases when I have no money to invest. By the time I have another $100 to buy stocks with, some number of days have passed and - especially when adding new companies to the portfolio - I don't get excited and 'invest with everybody else in the market.' From an emotional standpoint, it is important for me to not have money ready to invest while researching companies to invest in. It keeps my research dispassionate. Finally, I am the opposite of a certified financial planner, and all that wonderful stuff.

Sonu Bhangoo it's not complicated. Basically if you hold a bond that pays 5% and rates rise then future bonds would have a higher interest attached, let's say they're now being issued at 6%. Would you rather buy someone's 5% bond or give money to the govt for a 6%. If wanted to sell your 5% bond you need to give a discount to compensate the buyer for taking a lower interest rate on the same product. If interest rates go down then your 5% is more attractive since giving the govt money gives you a lower rate then buying from you. Would you rather have your 5% or get a 4%. Basically it all boils down to how attractive is your current bond against what will be issued in the future

Money at a discount is what I hear. Interest rates go up you buy bonds from other people. When the stock market crashes the ones that survive always come back up so buy like you'll be a millionaire when things spike again
