The other consideration is how many of these missiles does the west have considering how much stuff we've also sent to Ukraine? It is possible that Iran by itself could overwhelm the defense system not just on the short term but for the near future if they just keep sending more and more drones and missiles. Of course the USA would probably attack Iran which is why Iran doesn't do that but if the USA is thinking about attacking Iran anyway, they will have nothing to lose.

It should lead to the creation of a New Palestine from the river to the sea where all have equal rights. They can call it what they like, but it would be obscene to keep a racist, fascist, genocidal Israeli State, even as a two state solution, which could never work. Israel is so far an illegal state on stolen land. There was never a referendum on its future in 1948. This gross injustice must be repaired.

In order to cure madness, if in fact the form of madness is a curable variety, requires the “doctor” to undertake a careful and step by step program of treatment. It has to be done with wisdom and targeted knowledge that reduces the illness without, of course, risking the overall health of the patient. Maariv - an Israeli newspaper - reported that after independent investigation that only 84% of Iranian projectiles were intercepted. The IDF claim of 99% was wrong and that was mostly decoy drones, not the actual missiles. Most of the actual missiles hit their intended targets.

@@DisturbingWorld I don't know. I think we'll never know because Israel provided minimal and very restricted access. Except for the photo of the hole in Nevatim which looks like it was dug by a shovel with the dirt pile nearby that the IDF claimed was a missile crater, I haven't seen any images. But I do think that if there really was minimal damage, Israel would've provided less restricted access.

No casualties were taken because Iran warned Israel that their retaliatory attack would come after 72 hours (Isril had all that time to send their people to safe zones and prepare militarily). Also, Iran only hit military bases to further avoid civilian casualties. Iran showing israrl what a real moral army looks like lol

Clearly at least some of the "ballistic" missile warheads were powered all the way to the targets. That makes them hypersonic weapons. Also explosions in the sky don't mean a hit, only the interceptor detonated near its target. They are usually proximity fused and likely self destruct on a miss.

Iran used mostly cheap Shahed drones, old cruise missiles and old ballistic missiles. The small handful of newer ballistic missiles that were used are what got through in the videos. Those newer missiles weren't even their newest best stuff either.
