I spent 10 days in SIem Reap two years ago, I bought a three day pass to explore the Temples. I also had a scooter to drive around on and had no issues. I am planning a return trip in January 2023. As always good stuff guys. 😁👍

We loved Siam Reap and Angkor Wat five years ago. We loved Cambodia and went to the rural areas. The people were so lovely but have a hard life. Angkor Wat is a spectacular place. So glad I went

Siem Reap would be in my Top 5 favorite place in Asia. Because the temples of Angkor is one of the greatest treasures of Asia. Plus I love the vibe of the city.

I greatly admire how nature took back the ruins at Angkor Wat, all those massive trees right in the middle of the temples.

Great Job Gabi for such a positive uplifting Vlog on Siem Reap and Angkor! You mentioned it but its worth saying again that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the temple and the town without a mass tourists. More are coming back but its still possible to have the temples all to yourself especially at sunrise and it does make the experience magical !😆

I visited this magical place with my family as a boy way back in mid 60s before civil war erupted. It was so peaceful then. There were no tourists or places to stay then, we had to stay at Buddhist temples around the area. Most of my family members died during Pol Pot era from 1975 to 1979. Only memory lives on. Greetings from a genocide survivor. Enjoy your trip!

Hi Gabi, I was in Siem Reap and Angkor Wat in 2007 and was similarly excited as you. If you have just a little interest in the religion, culture and architecture of a people, the visit is an absolute must, especially since it is a World Heritage Site. Angkor Wat is huge and to see everything you need time. Even a whole week is not too much, if you want to enjoy the magnificent natural scenery at different times of the day. The visit of the lake Tonle Sap is only interesting because of some floating villages, especially Kampong Phluk. It is located in the middle of lush, often flooded mangroves. This fishing village with distinctive pile dwellings offers an ever-changing landscape due to Cambodia's dramatic rainy and dry seasons. On an organized small group tour, you'll get an up-close look at the lifestyle and culture of this unique Southeast Asian lakeside community. I think you can book such a boat tour already in Siem Reap, then you can also be sure that you arrive at the right pier and that this is organized somewhat professionally - otherwise you may be lost.

I live in Vietnam and do business in Seim Reap so I go there often. This is one of the best videos I have seen. Gabi. Good job man. He was there after Covid and it's a great time to go, few tourists. Once the tourists get back in, it's crazy busy there. Now it's more like back in the early 90's when no one visited and you could photograph with a gazillion people in the way. Nice work Gabi!

I visited exactly 20 years ago this month! Having seen so much development in the urban areas that they are very different from my memories, it is interesting to see your drives in the more rural areas showing not much has changed in those parts. Thank you for sharing these 😊

Been there 3 times.First time was in 2001 at that time Siem Reap was basically like an outpost. It has grown a lot and it is really helping out the local economy a lot. First time it was I believe $20 for a 3 day pass, and there where not boardwalks ect at the temples, it was really right out of tomb raider. Still a chill area and the people are delightful.

I was there in Siem Reap with a my family in 2018.... I got a nice hotel mainly for the kid & wife to enjoy the swimming pool & the rest of what the hotel has to offer.... But the main highlight personally. was Angkor Wat and the surroundings..... Re-collecting good memories, Pub Street, temples, the little city..... Everything .... and true, back then... tons of tourists and pretty pack....Good job mate!!

That’s the best time to visit Angkor wat for sun rise and not crowded. Especially after pandemic is good cuz not many tourists so that would give us more times to roam many places in a short time. I have been there 4 times and never get tired of it, always things to see and do there. It’s truly a once in a life time experience that you must visit, it’s a magical experience , you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended.

I was there 5 or more times. Just can't get bored about SR and Angkor. The road conditions are far better than earlier and the city is transforming - it was less 'fancy' earlier. I have a trusted tuk-tuk contact if needed - they work like tourguides as well, providing cold water through the day - and you may support a family this way. Just a different approach while travelling 😊. Great video! I enjoyed!

Been twice and so much to see. It's a huge area. Climbing was hard in the heat. After a while we were pretty tired. We rented a tuk tuk to drive us around and that was pretty good.
