Alan…I know you aren’t meaning to come across as rude, but you need to quit cutting off your guests when they are talking. There were countless times where you either interrupted Joe while he was making a point, or you just jumped in and finished his thoughts. There were a few things I wanted to hear more about that Joe was explaining or beginning to explain and you just jumped in and took over. I’ve noticed this is a constant with you and your guests. I was in radio for nearly twenty years and did hundreds of interviews. I know how hard it can be to hold back a thought while your guest is speaking. Here’s a tip that helped me at the beginning: stay a little bit back from your microphone. Then when you have the urge to interrupt, that extra move to get closer to the mic will remind you to wait a bit. It will become second nature after awhile, and make for better dialogue. Always enjoy the shows overall 👍🏻

Although it's a bit late, thank you for sharing your valuable story. Interviews are extremely rare in Japan, and there are no behind-the-scenes stories like this. It was a very meaningful, interesting, and enjoyable time. I hope we can do another interview.

What are the questions Koba would not allow them to answer? That's a curious one.

Fortunately I discovered BABYMETAL in 2015. And was an early dweller into the foxhole. I never expected to meet the members but seeing them live in my hometown of Grand Rapids was a highlight of my life (I'm 63). Any kind of interview is always fun! Especially the Japanese interviews. I think they are a national treasure for Japan.

“Thank you for creating this.” Damn that’s exactly what I’d say to Koba given the chance. I got close to him during my first Babymetal show back in 2018. In the middle of the set Koba came down the aisle of the balcony and squatted in the aisle next to me. I switched between watching the show and watching him out of my peripheral vision. I was afraid if I turned my head too much toward him he would vanish.

Guys tysm for this interview backstage insight. Don't be so sad about KobaMetal not wanting a pic, he barely does that unless you're super famous or one of the bands he likes and admires.😅 Recently "summer sonic" official released a short interview with the girls which was recorded prior to The Babyklok Tour but there's also another short interview about Summer Sonic released for the WOWOW stream iirc, so MomoMetal first interview was at Summer Sonic. About the girls watching Yui in the old interview i don't think they got nostalgia or whatnot, i bet they look pretty often those vids especially when they do rehearsals and rewatch to remember or polish some dance choreo, for example Iine! was brought back for the Asian/Australia Tour and they didn't dance that song since Yui left so i bet they needed to recap and refresh some memories to be perfect in sync once again. I lol real hard with the "biggest "fan" double meaning, hilarious.😂 Keep rocking guys and hope to see more interviews in the future, and hope you can travel to Japan next year for Legend MM, MomoMetal's birthday.🦊🤘🍑

BTW who else here got a ticket for Sick new World Festival in Vegas next year? F*** show was sold out but i wasn't going to be denied a chance to see Babymetal again. So i forked up the $950 dollars for a VIP resell lol. Yea, $900 but so worth it. Oli Sykes will be there as well. Which means very possibly we cound get another epic performance of Kingslayer with BabyMetal & Bring Me The Horizon. That in itself is worth whatever the cost here. Now i just have to buy a plane ticket and a room for 3 days!! This is going to cost me a fortune lol. 🤘🦊
