Canned fish are fish which have been processed, sealed in an airtight container such as a sealed tin can, and subjected to heat. Canning is a method of preserving food, and provides a typical shelf life ranging from one to five years.

It’s amazing to see how labor intensive the process even with the machines
@MildMisanthropeMaybeMassive

Sometimes machines make things more strenous and intensive for the worker. I've found that using a broom or scythe is less strain on my shoulders, lower back, and hips compared to a heavy upright vacuum cleaner and push lawnmower for small spaces and jobs the size of a standard residential home.

This music video is weird. It has workers in a factory cutting up pieces of tuna and rolling them down conveyer belts.

Why are there so many bones and scales now in canned tuna??? Especially the albacore “expensive” canned ones? Pretty much ruined now for me, It started about 3 years ago! Huge bones and scales the size of fingernails! Terrible!!!

I want to see a tuna with fingernail size scales. All I have seen have very small scales

I'm surprised the amount of leftovers in the manual canning process is huge. please, for the sake of the earth, someone inside the company tell me it wouldn't be discarded, it's good enough for mashed tuna salad
