How we build our most affordable and lightweight boot, in our new soft 5.5oz mahogany leather. Compared to our heavy-duty line, you may notice some small modifications to the processes and materials, but what you won't see, is a compromise in quality. The 300 boots are still %100 made in the USA, by hand, right here in our workshop.
Akin to its namesake, our new mahogany leather is prized for its rich deep reddish tones, durability, and remarkable grain patterns, which offer a classic look for work or casual wear.

Nice color. I have a pair of 300X boots as my everyday shoes. Although they're different from your 'regular' boots, they're a well made, very high quality product.

This is incredible. I got 2 pairs of Thorogood 1957s all with cracked synthetic midsoles. I am for sure going to do a troll ThoroGourd 1956 Custom version with a real leather midsole. I will def be contacting JK.

Beautiful!! How would these to work for someone with neuropathy in there feet? Are they fairly easy to break-in?

great choice for neuropathy patients imho. supportive boots, thick midsole and outsole to keep from punctures and as you break them in and get a "butt groove" from your foot in the leather, they just fit better. obviously wear thick socks and check your foot daily, but again, the 300 with the Christie sole is an amazing choice for you.

i like the way you guys do your tongue, how i'ts split like that. It looks like it would make the tongue more flexible. Not sure if it actually is or not though. I had a pair of nicks and my foot/ankle/instep etc. is too large i couldnt' even get my damn foot in the boot because the tongue wasn't flexible. I had to send them back.

The 3E width is the same as what you called average before?

JK defines Men's widths as... D - Narrow E - Regular EE - Medium EEE - Wide 5E - Extra Wide My measurements (longest and widest) Seated- 10.875" Standing - 11.000" Width (Standing)- 4.25" Ball Diameter (Standing) - 10.25" Brannock (Standing) - 11E JK Sizing - 10EE In my experience the boots fit large in length, but not width so you have to go up one letter to get the width right.
