I would assume it probably goes both ways. If you have made the experience that a lot of men as well as women cheat, you see it firstly as normal, maybe before it happenes to you, you have already seen it happened to others, maybe even close ones of yours and therefore you want to be the one that cheats instead of the one that get's cheat on.
