work ethic in japan is something else, almost everyone has pride in what they do. but it’s also how they are raised/schooling, even the office workers taking the train have a very unique way of doing business deals, or even over the phone deals… lots of respect to the japanese honestly

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” ‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭NIV‬ ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭ God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! ❤️🤗

Anyone wondering why it says "a crew of 22 cleaners" for the entire train? It's because Japanese are known to be clean on their surroundings, the crew mostly do is to just adjust the seats and a bit of finishing touches and train is good for another ride.

Where's the ATC? (Shinkansen ATC is not similar to those used in planes; it is a system that controls the train speed, if it detects the train going over, let's say 70 km/h after leaving Osaka, the ATC will automatically apply brakes until the train speed matched the limit.) ATC speeds for the Shinkansen depend on the line it is serving. For trains running west of Tokyo (Osaka, Okayama, Hiroshima, Kokura, Hakata) the original speeds are 0, 30, 70, 110, 160 and 210 km/h. However, an upgrade was made to increase the speed and accomodate newer rolling stock. So the new one is set at 0, 30, 70, 120, 170, 220, 230, 255, 270, 275, 285 and 300 km/h. For trains running east of Tokyo (Omiya, Sendai, Aomori, Kanazawa, Niigata) the speeds are set to 0, 30, 70, 110, 160, 210 and 240 km/h. DS-ATC, a variant of ATC-2, replaced these.

Firstly you need to have very skilled, creative and responsible people to project, build and manage the entire system. Japan deals with very harsh conditions: more than 150 earthquakes, 30 typhoons per year, 50 active volcanoes, blizzards in winter, and they keep their trains running clean and in time. It's amazing.

Why is it that Japan's bullet trains (SHINKANSEN) have been able to run for almost 60 years without derailment and without passenger casualties, even after major earthquakes? And why is it possible for high-speed Shinkansen trains to operate safely in the snow without interruption, despite the fact that Japan is one of the world's snowiest winter regions? This is possible because the Shinkansen makes use of Japan's abundant water resources, and all the mechanisms are designed from the manufacturing stage with the occurrence of natural disasters in mind. The Shinkansen is not designed for high-speed operation alone. Therefore, even if one were to copy and imitate in form only the mechanism of the Japanese Shinkansen, which can run even in snow, it would not be able to operate stably in the heavy snowfalls. The reason for this is that Japan, an island nation, and China, a continent, have completely different topographies and weather conditions, but there is no consideration or improvement for these differences. It is not surprising that simply duplicating a mechanism that fundamentally overlooks these geopolitical and climatic differences will not work. This is because the environmental requirements and problems to be solved are different from those in Japan. Snow removal methods invented in Japan can only be used in the Japanese environment. Because Japan is a geopolitically volcanic island, it has a natural environment with an abundance of clear water that gushes out almost for free. The snow removal system was conceived and designed based on this abundance of water. In the first place, on an arid continent where water resources are scarce, this method cannot be used and will not work from the start. The only way to deal with this is to come up with a different method suited to the continental environment from scratch. Nevertheless, if this point is ignored and the system is simply copied from Japanese mechanisms, Japanese snow removal methods and mechanisms for high-speed rail in a continental environment will be wasteful, costly, and unprofitable. We must not forget that Japan has an idiom that warns against wasteful spending, "use it like hot or cold water," and that everyone uses this phrase as a matter of course in their daily lives. To understand the feeling and common sense of this idiom, you must live in the special environment of Japan yourself to realize it. In other words, Japanese technology has been developed and perfected by using wisdom and making improvements upon improvements to overcome Japan's unique and special natural environment and to take advantage of the resources it is blessed with. If we are to imitate them, we must learn from this process of thinking and devising unique ways of thinking from the natural environment. What Japanese religion, culture, behavior, norms, and traditions have in common is the existence of a natural environment that is the antithesis of good and evil. Japan is a land of abundant fresh water and food resources compared to anywhere else in the world, and at the same time, it is a land of harsh, large-scale natural disasters that occur on a regular basis. In order to survive as a species in this environment, they have developed a way of thinking that does not deny the environment, but rather accepts it, and how to coexist with it, making the most of the rich parts of nature and overcoming the dangerous parts of the natural environment. This is the common underlying factor and way of thinking across a wide range of Japanese cultures. This is not something that people around the world who grow up in different environments have in common. Even among Asian countries, the cultures and ways of thinking that have developed in continental and island countries are naturally different because of their completely different environments.

Sorry bro but as far as I heard, the Seimens Velaro train family is the world's fastest, at least on normal rails that is. The Seimens Valero trains are German built high-speed trains which can reach up to 320 least the Baurhie 411 can, and other countries such as Britain with it's Eurostar, Chinese high-speed rail, and others throughout the world have adopted the train.

@nervun8097 hard capped to 300km/h because investigations for 360km/h is just too expensive and not worth the increased cost, tohoku shinkansen which planned to go to sapporo 6 years later is conducting tests to clear for 360km/h operation so that it can reach sapporo within 4 hours, which allowed them to capture the lucrative market vs planes, France once planned 350km/h to reach 1000km destination within 3 hours with studies showing passenger tolerance maximum is 3 hours before they started to switch to planes, recently raised to 4 hours so less incentive for 350km/h

@@captainkrajick I mean they should at least do the mechanism right cause LRT mishaps are very common as you'd think...

From what I know, the trains are too small for servicing such a dense area in Manila. I believe they are 4-car units? They probably should be 6-cars at the minimum, but I don't think they would fit in the stations at that point. Another issue would be the lack of trains that skip stations (which isn't possible on an LRT) to reduce long distance travel. You guys probably need conventional rail to back up the LRT.

Philippines is exact opposite of Japan in terms of discipline. Anti-intellectualism is a national trait too.
