Number 3 is interesting because I'm Russian and in my country average middle-class students are at school from 8:30am to +- 4:00pm

Japanese education system builds their character, culture, and economy. 1. Character before academic knowledge. Till 10 years old no exam manners, discipline, character. Respect, generosity, consideration,self-control, and how to take care of themselves, other people, and nature, animals. 2. Character is the foundation of learning. 3. Japanese school day is long and given homework. 4. The teacher is given the highest respect. 5. Teach not entertain. 6. No prom in japan, arts and sports culture. 7. No school buses in japan. Kindergarten mothers take children to school and in higher classes kids travel by themselves to school. 8. No janitors. 9. The summer break is 5 weeks long, must do a lot of homework and more extra circular activity.

Regarding the teaching workload, is it very exhausting? And what is the relationship between students' mental health and these long hours? I ask because, while studying more about Chinese culture, I also saw that some students exceed 17 hours of study per day! I loved your content. Hugs from Brazil!

I think the United States should take the best part of foreign education systems and adapt it to theirs. There are some really good points about a teacher's real job.

I honestly think every country should consider this, study it and see how they can translate it according to their own culture, goals, and history

Also not teaching their kids about their history and what they did to other parts of Asia. At least they're getting taught manners and good knowledge.
