I think NJ quick success and popularity were getting into MHJ's, NJ's and their parents' heads. They got more ambitious, greedy and entitled. They had forgotten that their label was riding on Hybe and BTS's namesake. A few of the BTS members even helped to promote NJ with dance challenges and mentioned their songs during live streams. They're biting the hands that feed them. If they were to start from ground zero under MHJ's own company and without so much finance available and good producers, I doubt they would be so successful and recognised as now.

I seriously started laughing when I saw that BSH didn't greet NJ. Like this is EXTREMELY CHILDISH. My TM often doesn't respond to me, sometimes for even days. There are 20 members in my team and he handles everyone and respond to them as and when necessary. So what should I do, start crying that they didn't respond to me?? There are lot of groups under Hybe and while BTS is away, they should support the company. Until now they just spent their money, and as the moment when they should give back something they want to quit. The girls get the "celebrity disease" and Miss Min is absolutely desillusional. Some Koreans support her, but international fans stand by Hybe in this case. ARMY often criticize the company, but as I've seen, the comments mostly at their side now.

There is no legal points raised on their side and Hybe has corporate law and the rights of a shareholder on their side. The only unknown is the actual contract between MHJ and Hybe. I have worked in global companies and have never seen the chairman recognise employees. The fact that these people seem to think he should recognise anyone is beyond belief. Like you said, he didn’t even recognise V for a year, you don’t see him complaining, besides he addressed it in a playful way when the members were allowed to raise issues in the buildings roof back in the day. As to BSH not even talking to NJ, I say it’s the best move he has ever made. Clearly negotiations with MHJ have been ongoing for years and when BSH stepped down as CEO, it would have fallen to the new CEO Jiwon Park to continue the negotiations with MHJ. As the negotiations clearly went sour and resulted in this chaos, the worst thing BSH could have done was to interact with anyone from Ador as MHJ would have used it against him. Looks to me like rich privileges of the pampered princesses of ADOR. Using hard earned BTS money to give her SINGLE artist everything and thereby get the parents onto her side of the warped and twisted truth. No other artist has complained in Hybe, only ADOR. As to your point of using this as a teaching tool, I think this should also be used to teach the parents. Hybe has requested meetings with the parents to assure them that they would support NJ and the parents have refused the meetings. If they feel that their children were slighted by BSH then they should have agreed to attend the meeting, heard what Hybe had to say and used it to raise their concerns, yet they didn’t. Parents should lead by example and what they have led these girls to is to accept victim hood, have no self confidence and expect to have the rich pickings from Hybe money. A bunch of spoilt diva’s live in the ADOR house. AND WHERE IS THE LAPTOP MHJ?

Full disclosure- I am not from an Asian country. I have worked for a large company of 700 where the CEO would not recognize all the employees. I would only be able to recognize one or two dozen staff. Is it reasonable to expect the Chair of a conglomerate such as HYBE to recognize all the idols in that organization. I believe MJH has been too close to the NJ members and their families so that the expectations for familiarity have been raised to unreasonable or perhaps unhealthy levels.

I trust BTS & Bang PD who built HYBE! All idols at HYBE are blessed they gave them a home. That woman speaks for New Jeans but everything she says is suspicious & the girls probably love Bang PD with no issues.

True that being ignored by your boss is acceptable for most people. But that doesn’t mean that such ignorance and impoliteness can be considered correct. I think we shouldn’t blame the “victim” so much that we may ignore the incorrect things committed by others. To the song controversy, I am a black American who grew up on R&B, and I have an extensive musical background. One of the reasons I was drawn to Kpop was because it takes so much influence from my culture. With that in mind, I get frustrated that Kpop fandoms regularly attack each other by yelling plagiarism. I mean... the entire genre is a plagiarism of my culture, lol, but I like it! The truth is, I hear elements of songs I already know in most songs, especially Kpop songs since they borrow so heavily from the African-American music that I know inside and out. There is nothing new under the sun, so it not unusual that a familiar rhythm or progression would appear in another song. It could be that a composer is paying homage. It could be that a composer doesn't remember that the melody in his head is from a song he heard as a child. It's a 40 year-old song after all. I hear elements of songs I know in kpop all the time. Even RM's new song makes me think back to "Another Rainy Day" by Corrine Bailey Rae, an R&B artist. No, I'm not dragging BTS; I'm just using an example that is pertinent to the fans of this channel (I'm a BTS fan btw). "Come Back to Me" has the same opening rhythm, an almost identical chord progression, and the lazy/laid back vocal style, but none of these elements are uncommon, and that's not plagiarism ( I love these elements in both of these songs). US courts have ligated this ad nauseam. Bubblegum is no more similar to Easier Said Than Done than Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" was to Marvin Gaye's “Let's Get It On” (the most recent prominent court decision) or RM's "Come Back to Me" is to Corrine Bailey Rae's "Another Rainy Day." To me, this claim about Bubblegum is really just about people not liking MHJ and looking for a way to undercut a very legitimate complaint about the extent to which BeLift copied NewJeans at the apparent direction of the parent corporation. It has a detrimental effect on the girls in both Illit and NewJeans and hurts the fans of both groups.

This happened to me where our top manager didn't respond when I said hello. What did I do? I introduced myself and identified which department I worked in. Result? He never forgot me and greeted me when we would cross each other's paths. 😊

Whether you like Bang PD or not, he's the busy chairman of a global conglomerate who took the time to attend RM, V, JK, and Jimin's enlistment ceremony in person, and with a shopping bag of gifts. All of this just screams a sense of arrogant entitlement on the part of Min Hee Jin and everyone she is associated with. This sense of arrogance has seeped into her, the parents of the New Jeans members and I would say, the New Jeans members as well who are at a highly impressionable age. When the news came, I was immediately reminded of the time V "complained" to Bang Shi Hyuk about not recognising him even after one year of being in BTS when they hardly had any staff and only had one group. Of course, V felt bad. But he expressed it and Bang said sorry. Compare that to now when he is the head of a conglomerate with numerous groups and probably thousands or at least hundreds of staff and trainees who look similar by the way as most K-pop girl group members do. Add to this that he hardly gets to meet them and is not involved in their music production. I do not know what these so-called Korean netizens eat that their brain stops working and they go into attack mode any moment any form of controversy surfaces. The fact that this has been made an issue speaks to how entitled these people are who, instead of trying to resolve the issue, have further poisoned the minds of these young girls. At this point, I would not mind if all these people were kicked out without a penny. They can build their own company and become Billboard singers. I do not care at this point!
