As a Kenyan who has seen KK alliance dilly dally with important issues in Kenya, I am worried about the success of this new system considering also KK's high affinity for corruption

But who is going to provide this care? County governments don't want to employ more nurses, clinical officers and doctors. They don't want to train doctors and nurses to become specialised. This confused government is putting the cart before the horse. They have talked about all of these increased services without talking about the service providers.

Yeah big hurry to get services to you. Or you can pay for shif and let your funds stay in nhif as we dont close it down quickly

Why don't they correct the NHIF mistakes like corruption instead of forming another organisation which will also face the same challenges because this is KENYA

Learn from mistakes, nobody has been abled to correct nhif , its a crime scene in corruption, 2nd nhif wasnt formed to provide universal health care you need a body enacted by parliament to do exactly that.

You only need to look carefully! You remember the anti corruption commission? They changed it to suck Lumumba! And eat all the remaining money. The government deducts nhif, the private employer deducts nhif we know the money reaches nhif, but does money deducted from Treasury staff reach nhif? Who knows? When they move from nhif they don't have to pay the huge debt they owe nhif! Period! 2. E-citizen is a business!

Why can't the government just introduce a health card just like in the gulf, where any person over 18 must have and it should be annually renewal like 10k with payable twice. With the card you can walk in any government hospital and get treated wheather minor,complex illness

Pliz Ask for us , cz some of us pay Nhif 6 months prior what will happen to the funds we have paid will they transfer to Shif like they will do the information

The whole medical scheme sounds to be so good-how will they ensure that the funds will not be embezzled, change the bad attitude of medical personnel, ensure drugs are readily available. They can also revive the dispensaries.
