Anyone else got a flashback of their Hispanic family lecturing them on having a tattoo? Then spending the whole day hearing stories of relatives that ended up in the hospital because of a tattoo? Just asking.

@@JennyLorenzo speaking of hospitals, I don't know what is the situation in the US but in some (and probably many) countries in Latin america, you are not allowed to be a blood donor if you had tattoos until recently. Now they make you wait a year or so.

She does speak bits and pieces of Spanish in earlier videos. Like on New Year's, both she and Laritza said Maruchi's classic line "Quien carajo es Kevin?"(Who the h*ll/f*ck/heck is Kevin?), and in another vid where she shows Abulea her wardrobe, she says to Abuela "Tengo sed."(I'm thirsty.).

No no no no, Jenny! You've done it again! I'm DEAD from this video. Literally my mother with how you're never gonna get a job and you are gonna have to be a pirate! It's like you were in my house! 🤣🤣🤣 Funny part is I am now 48 years old. My mom passed away 2 years ago. She always said, Rachel, please don't ever do that to me. Wait until I'm dead before you ever get a tattoo, because seeing a tattoo on your body will literally kill me! Omg. I still don't have one, though, because I'm afraid she'll haunt me! 🤣

I laughed hella hard when the foot tattoo came into the conversation. My parents both got tattoos when they got married in the eighties, and both regretted them. My Dad has his battallion's bulldog on his upper arm, and my Mom has a cat tattoo in a rather unmentionable place. They must've been fun as hell before condoms broke, and a birthcontrol mishap. Anyway, they basically scared me out of getting tattoos, which I feel might feed into my indecisiveness.

So accurate! When my cousin got a tattoo all my tias were crying and my tios were angry for days… it is literally the size of a penny and on her back where no one has to see it, but wow they really went off.

Haha old people. That isn't true anymore. I wasn't allowed clear nail polish until 14 or to get my ears pierced until 17 or 18. Now I have my nose done too of course. I'm a scientist. They can't forbid such things with so many foreigners in the sciences.

I don't know if this was intentional, though if it was it is stunning attention to detail, but when they stand like in front of each other and Gloria first goes on her tirade about tattoos with "two Ts" and points to her own roght arm, it is the exact opposite and therefore on the same side to Jasleiney, who is wearing the tattoos on her left arm. This completes the symmetry people would instinctively go by in such a situation and deepends the immersion just a little bit more. I love it!

LMAO, this reminds me of when my 2nd son was wanting to get a tattoo and asked his dad, my ex, to take him and not to tell me cus he thought I would be mad. But Ex told me anyway, and I had a good laugh and replied, "Seriously? He thought it would be okay with you, the guy who doesn't like tats, and not me, the mom who has a Celtic shamrock tattoo on my shoulder blade?!" I guess he'd forgotten about that! LOL!

It's true that getting tattoo sleeves can limit career prospects. I applied for tons of jobs, but the only one I could get was sailor. Now my life is all rum and fighting and sea monsters. Tia Gloria tiene la razon.

My siblings and I have had this exact conversation with our mother. She is such a Gloria! She even freaked out over UV tattoos. But it was okay of her to get her eyebrows and make-up tattoo'd on in the 90s (it's not the type you get redone regularly, she got the perma type) because there's no time to put on make up in an emergency and now she's always ready!
