Hi, you can check your status online at uscis.gov using the receipt number on your 797C receipt you received when you filed. Best wishes!

I’m 16 submitted my visa u application in 2018 for 2 robbery’s this December coming up is going to be my third year and it says 3 1/2 is the wait. I’m worried because I need to save money for a job and I’m wanting to go to college . Yeah record Is clean and I’m last year of high school IM WORRIEDDD

My u visa was pre approved those this mean i will get an approved Visa also I am outside the U.S

@Grayson congratulations on your pre-approval! You’re definitely on your way to a visa but the pre-approval does not guarantee a final approval. Keep your eyes out for any further communication from USCIS, which will take some time. Best wishes!

Hello, I have a great idea for a video. My question is what happens after your approved for the u visa I-918 when you live outside the USA? My husband has been outside the USA this whole time. We check all the time on the website when his date is coming up. In 2 months it should be up (July 19, 2016). We talked to a new lawyer and they said that once he is approved then he has to do 3 more steps before coming to the USA? What are these steps? He said one was to ask for forgiveness. What are the other two? Also how much longer do we have to wait? We waited 5 years but would love to know what else to expect. Thank you so much

I am deported for 10 years I have applied for a U visa, I have my Mom in a nursing home suffering from Alzheimer's in the US. I have an ongoing I-130 petition through my US citizen wife, I have 2 boys both US citizens 23 years old and 16 years old. i have my brother in law in US for last 3 decades i have lived in Us for 2 decades. My wife is going through severe anxiety and depression.
