I watched a solo guy with backing tracks using two of these. I kept looking for the sub. There wasn't one. It was in a noisy city centre bar, he was pumping out the sound!

I've used 2 x TS310 on top of 2 x TS312S subs for over 30 Dj gigs. Zero complaints, the sound is crisp, clean and full with the help of the subs. With pole stands maxed up, you can throw sound pretty far. Yes you'll get deeper bass from 15" or 18" subs, but ALL my Dj equipment fits in a compact sedan, and both driver and passenger can still slide our seats far back, and I won't hurt my back carrying any of this gear. Tip: whatever source you're feeding into these Altos, I recommend using a separate quality audio mixer in between (I use a Yamaha MG); it just sounds cleaner with better headroom. All in all, compact reliable performance at a great price. I've thought about upgrading, but I can't really find a good reason why I should. Try these out!

I play in an R&R trio, usually small clubs, but recently did an outdoor concert. Our PA consists of two of these 310s, on tripod stands. My keyboards (I play two with one usually doing left hand bass) run through the TS312 placed on the floor behind me, at an angle pointing upward so that it serves as my personal monitor as well.I NEVER go thru the mains, yet the balance of the band is superb, show after show. We get tons of compliments on the sound being clear, yet not overpowering. I've gone through QSC K series as well as Yamaha DXR, the EV and JBL powered speakers, and dollar-for-dollar, pound-for-pound, you cannot beat these Altos. The only caveat is that the HF driver (tweeter) blows easily but there's so many replacement options out there that fit that you can hot-rod your Alto easily by changing into a different brand driver, and for under fifty bucks.

You can DJ with two of these speakers and a pair of subs no problem!!! They have plenty of power

I was using 2 Behringer B112D's for my live one man shows (50-100 people). I now use these. Amazing clarity and I can transition in to a few dance songs at the end of the show if needed. EQ'd right these are AMAZING!!

These speakers sound great so far .... crips highs and balance bass ... my next move is to get the Subs to match... #AltoProfessional may be my new speaker brand going forward

I bought a pair of the exact same speaker and used them for 4 christmas parties and holy crap these are crazy loud for the room i was in. but if I do need that extra low end I have built a system for these speakers called the hybrid system. reason for that because if i want my passive sub with these speakers but less cables for 2 lots of speakers just use the same output of my sound board. but use XLR y spliter for each channel in the flight case. And have the one end coming back out direct to the tops and the other end to my crossover/limiterand bass amp. and it all works nicely.

I wish I could see these speakers in action with a band. Of course they will do great with playback. But in a raunchy band situation that's where it all will be told.

Hi! I play in a couple of bands moslty in bars/venues. In some gigs i sing others i just play electric guitar or even both. when i play guitar i always have to carry around a heavy guitar amp. So im looking for the most easy and light portable solution that could be used for both singing and playing guitar as a main rig (sometimes not connected to pa system) . Keeping in mind the lighter the better,Do you think the lighter TS308 is enough for my needs or should i go for the larger TS310? thank you very much

I have a quick question. I have a small jazz quartet consists of electric piano, bass, drums and clarinet. Would these speakers be good enough to amplify the group if I mic the piano amp, bass amp, clarinet and drums for a hall of around 200 people? What I want is just a little of boost of sound knowing we’re using amps anyhow.

It's a "professional PA" but the price is much lower than some speakers that are for home use or small venue? Like Bose S1 pro, JBL Eon one?

Hello, I been having since 2008 a set of B-52, 15 inch sub w/integrated amp and to passive 10 inch tops and still sound great! People love the sound when I'm djing and I'm trying to get a set for backyard parties probably 50 to 60 people max. and not carrying the B-52 so I want to know if a set of 2 alto's ts310 and a subwoofer ts212 should do the job? Have to disagree with you on the amount of people you use these for, we do live DJing for 1930/40s music with dancers and audiences around 200 people and have been using four Ts210 spread around the venue, we also use these outside for same sort of event and they have been superb. Now purchased the TS310 and will use the 210 as backup and montors

I don't recommend this speaker, I personally bought two of this and I tell you one of them didn't last me 5 mins, while testing it out it just made this like a gun explosion sound, and then when I came to check it was still on, but after i turned it off and turn it on again, it won't turn on again. And here I am still waiting for the replacement. The store where I bought it from didn't recommend it to me since the alto t3 series had a lot of issues. I should have listened and now I'm stressing of it, I bought as a cheap FRFR speaker.

How does this compare again yamaha dxr 10 or k10 is there a huge difference. Quality seems clear in video.. Is Alto sound quality and reliability ok. As some said the ts2 range has reliability problems. Some questions for u.
