My longest win streak was when Rebel Clash first came out. Played Roxie's Dragapult and got a win streak of 24. It had alot of surprise techs that made it great for best of 1, like a wait and see hammer and nihiligo

Although me and my kids started playing a few years before guardians rising, that was the first season we went competitive. I appreciate these memories you're conjuring up. I'll never forget my oldest son and I going to out first big tournament, just after guardians rising. And seeing nothing but a sea of lele and garbodor. The gyarados deck was one of my favorite decks of all time just in terms of how fun it was to play.

Wow I remember the wrecking ball that was dual Garbodor. Here in my local league we had players basically running Garbodor decks for a little while. Insane. Really love seeing the diversity of the the best decks from the older formats. A stark contrast to today where non rule-box cards have been frozen out of the meta.

What I left out the script was I played lurantis bulu and got absolutely wrecked by a vika bulu haha! Definitely knew from then the right way to play bulu 😂

i started going competitive again around the Sun and Moon Base set, after attending the sun and moon base set pre-release. throughout the whole season i used Mega Rayquaza comboed with sky field for massive damage! it was a fun time. I then switched over to Alolan Ninetales/ Zoroark GX, and when Buzzwole GX became legal, i spent the entire time that Buzzwole was legal, playing that with cards like Lycanrock GX and baby Buzzwole, that could get some nice ohkos depending on the prize trade

I'll never forget my standard lycanroc zoroark deck with Alolan Muk that went 43-0 in it's run time. Even using tool cards to boost HP by 40 at the time was crazy as 200 was the average and I was sitting at 250 while taking away basic abilities and hitting for 120-150 a turn. And blood thirsty eyes plus Guzma was gross. Plus acerola to prevent a KO and the banned marshadow and a ditto prism? Best deck I ever played. Had a counter for every deck in standard at the time. Perfection

DUDE… the editing at 1:41 is top tier! So pleased you’re doing more of these. I know they’re more work, but these are so great to watch. Your well-balanced narration is fantastic too. Moments of flair and humour in there, but not too much so it makes you smile without taking you out of the events you’re describing. Really great stuff. Love it.

@@BurtsPTCG it’s alright, thanks for what I think was a super high quality and enjoyable video(I think most if not all of your other videos are great too btw) but I just personally feel that with this type of video it’s, from what I’ve seen, done less, more uncommon than videos like deck profile videos etc.(not that I think they are bad, I personally think they are good and enjoy most if not all of them). This is all just my opinion btw and I respect and accept anyone else’s opinion, view,judgement or anything of the like!

i have a play question, can i play birdkeeper as example to my active intelleon and change it with a benched sobble (sobble has the air ballon) and then draw 3 cards with birdkeeper and change back to my inteleon, because the airballon in one turn? thanks in advance

Does the same apply for dragon shield sleevs thag have artwork because its my birthday this coming sunday and i wna buy sleeves with artwork bc uk looks r important but do you if i like shuffle rong on accident will the artwork picture come off ?

If u really want to use artwork sleeves i would recommend using overseeves to protect them!

I think you made the correction already in the edit, but for anyone who got sidetracked or for anyone new to the game, the Garbodor with the Garbotoxin ability was in the BREAKPoint set, not the BREAKThrough set.
