@@juarezderrick9647 I'm in Duval county Texas. And I called a game Warden and asked. He told me that there is no minimum acre size of property and no minimum distance from a dwelling. Actually my dad had 100 acres he lived on and he killed many deer standing in the patio door in his boxer shorts and shooting right out the door. Game Warden says that's legal here so I'm good. I'm on 2 acres with 80 acre un used ranch to the south a 640 acre ranch to the west 160 acre ranch to the north across access road and an abandoned 2 acres to the east then a row of 2 acre plots for another mile. The closet dwelling is about 450 ft so as long as I don't shoot toward a dwelling the warden said hunt but hunt safely
