It’s safer to keep the 300 summons guaranteed character once you have a lot more. That way you can get the last one you will be missing.

I ran into a similar problem but on a dolphin scale. pulled 3 Claras and 2 Himekos before I 300 pull selected Bronya on the normal banner. I then went all in on the Seele Banner and got her on my first pity rotation. Total invested, $700. Watching your pulls was even harder. Hopefully, money is not an issue for you like the rest of us scrubs.

If you're talking about the OP, honestly I believe what he got was lucky/great. Any other 5-stars would've been useless on his main team. As other 5-stars might be nice to have in your collection, for spending that much I would want a team/put resources that would be focused around building my main DPS (Seele). I could see OP wanted a team built around Seele when they chose Bronya first from the standard banner 300 pull-pick. Getting Bronya + Bailu eidolons just makes Seele so much more stronger/sustainable. No ill intentions towards your comment, I just wanted to point it out. And honestly I was surprised too that they didn't get more variety in their 5-stars.

makes me feel lucky... kinda... that i got 20 characters in around ~300 in spending, but i still lack clara and bronya... it was interesting that i knew i was getting 20 when i pulled my first Himeko, she was my 20th and it triggered the 20 character achievement before i got to see it was her, it was between Himeko, Clara, and Bronya...

Wow this is why i limit my gacha spending to only the 5 dollar passes that give a few wishes and maybe the 100 dollars yearly reset. Just for the first guarantee each banner.
