Imagine spending 26 minutes a day invoking, multiplied by 365 days is about 160 hours. Now.. you can actually buy 52 coalescent motes for 26,000 ZEN during sales (3 coalescent motes = 1500 ZEN) which in turn can be bought for around $180-200 (considering the ZEN bonus+discount offers prices). According to data reported by Wikipedia, in any European country it would take you less time to go to work than to farm by invoking. “Fly, you fools!”

I only get that with appalling, unplayable lag, which hardly ever happens now. It's usually 6 to 12 seconds to load, invoke, change character, load character. I posted a fuller comments separately. And I am retied, so I don't have to work at all. {:o:O:}

Great video as always ^^ I personally have 20 slots and use like 6 of them playing (1 main, 2 twinks, 3 for glyphs farming with lagacys) invoking with all of them is quiet an effort, but it's manageble (would recommand more than that, except you do it only once a day ;)

The max is 50. 50 plus any packs you bought that contain character slots. As an example the Dragonborn pack came with 2 character slots. The Moon Elf Pack comes with 1 character slot.

An important point is that people must realise they need the Coffer of Celestial Artifacts, not the other one, for the Epic Enchanting Stones. {:o:O:}

I open mech altars daily and have someone with me who invokes on 52 toons. He takes about 8 mins total and this with display resolution turned down. He currently has 200k+ gold and we're both eagerly waiting for the Gond event (when is it coming?). Oh, I have 9 toons, hoping for another class to make it a nice round 10.

Another use of multiple characters are professions. If you're dedicated enough you can make a nice bit of extra AD from them. Currently I have 13 characters and I don't even bother to do the summer and winter events with all of them because it would take such a long time.

Yeah, definitely not for me. The only person who sleeps in this game is Gus. This guy farms 8hrs a day Siege of NW for vauchers alone. You will get burnout with so many characters, unless your name is Gus and never touched another MMO. lmao

I am generally getting a coal mote per 25 coffer but not usually til I've opened upward of 170-ish coffers.

I kept a spreadsheet for a while, with all the different drops from the Coffer of Celestial Artifacts. You can get: ES Rank 3, 4 or 5 and a Peridot ES Rank 3, 4 or 5 and a Pres Ward ES Rank 3, 4 or 5 and a Coal Mote A Coal Mote does have a 3% drop rate overall, although it can be a little lower (like 2.7%) or higher, up to 5% or more. But the _distribution_ was chaotic. You could get 2, 3 or 4 or 5 for the first 100 Coffers, then get 1 or 2 for the next 150, then get 2 or 3 for the next 100, then get 3, 4 or 5 for the next 100. I always save the up until I have hundreds and open them on Double Refining for the Enchanting Stones. {:o:O:}

@@ansfridaeyowulfsdottir8095 does it makes sense why it sometimes drops over the average within certain windows? I guess the drop rate would tend to even out the more you open until you hit another window. Would you say there is a preferable amount of coffers to open for best yield? I also wait for 2x refine event and open up to 200. If I wasn't so lazy it could be a lot more.

@@xkeltykx4863 Well, its a pseudo-random drop based on some seed data. It could be the time of day, place the coffers are in inventory or mouse cursor position, or a combination, no one knows. One time opening about 25 I got 2, which is 8%. Another time I got 13% for a small number of coffers. But overall it's about 3%, as I've opened 80 and got none! I used to open them when I got them (same with using VIP lock box keys), but now I've been saving them up for quite a few years (I've played 10 years, since Mod 2). I usually open 5, 6 hundred or more. I have 36 characters so it's easier to collect them. At the moment I have a few hundred in the bank and every character has 8 to 10 in their bags, so that's another 300 or so. I did not open any during this last Double Refining. I don't think there's a "magick number", it just feels more successful if you open a few hundred on one character. I usually pick one that has the most spare bank space! As I say, you can open 150 and get 2, and then get 5 in the next 90 boxes. That distribution I mentioned is an example, it's not the same every time. I saved a year's worth of VIP keys but wasted too many by continuing after getting the Mythic account mount at about 170. I should have kept the other 190-odd for the next lock box that had the Mythic Account Artifact. I have about 106 keys now, maybe more. With 36 characters, if I invoke all 6 times per day, I can get 36 coffers every 5.5 days, or about 2,400 a year. But some days I only Invoke once, or I might do them all but the last one and so lose a Celestial Coin. Invoking at least once is essential, but gives half the yearly coffers (about 1200) and you don't get the Invocation Bags for the Gems and Zen Discount Vouchers. I also save those Invoking bags until my bags are full for Double Refining or when there's something decent on the Zen Market. I periodically open 10 or so when my bags are full. {:o:O:}

Hold on! Second time watching! I'd get a faster internet connection if it takes you 30 seconds to invoke per character! I only get that with appalling, unplayable lag, which hardly ever happens now. It's usually 6 to 12 seconds to load, invoke, change character, load character. I have 36 toons and it takes under 6 minutes to invoke once on all of them. I have VIP functions on my NumPad and have Invoke on NumPad "+" (instead of CTRL+i) and I have "Exit to loading screen" on 3 on the Numpad, instead of Esc and click. Then Down Arrow, Enter on NumPad to load, +, 3, Down Arrow, Enter, +, 3 Down Arrow, Enter, +, 3... Then I set my electronic stop watch for 8 minutes and go through again and Remotely claim Professions and my Daily VIP Bag on all and VIP Key on one. Then, if I am going to do the full 6 Invokes per day, I start Invoking again when the stop watch goes off and set it for 24 minutes and continue collecting professions and bags, and start the stop watch again when I get to Character 36. Then, when it rings again, I reset it to 38 minutes and continue where I left off. Then 53 minutes, then 83 minutes, and when I finish claiming Professions and Daily VIP Bag on all, I start again at the first character and remotely Rush professions to make Potions of Healing Rank 9 for the gold on about half, and Myrrh on the others for Workshop Rank 3. And a few might be making Specials, like Reinforcement Kits and Jewels, or Cobalt Tools +1 and so on. They all have Rank 4, but I am still making Myrrh as it sells quite well on AH. And MUCH cheaper than paying Lady Begum in actual AD. Obsessive? Perhaps, but efficient. I used to have three clocks on my desk, one for Boston Server Time, one for Western Australia and one for Victoria, Australia, as when I started (Mod 2) my Guildies were in Australia. Of course, doing all the Invokes and Professions in between does take up the whole 4 hours. Although, I usually complete professions in 2 to 2.5 hours, it depends how much I need to sell and how much gold I need to distribute to the Myrrh crafters. So can run a Random Queue or do the Siege while waiting for the 60 or 90 minute Invoke to come round.. When I finish it all, I can farm boons or whatever. {:o:O:}

Yeah I just gave 30s to give some flexibility for different platforms. Not everyone can load so fast, and then use a keybind to invoke. Can do it in like 5s with a good PC and connection. 1 button press invokes and logs you out, down arrow and enter goes into the next character etc

Then I re-watched and noticed you had mentioned this in the video! I don't know how Gus Archer does what he does! He's like the definition of Obsessive MMO Player! Usually, I don't even rush the potions, just collect, and rush the Myrrh. But it's easier to do the first 3 or 4 Invokes and Professions collecting at 10 AM when UK resets, then take a break and do the rest in the evening. I tend to sleep in the afternoon and play in the early hours, so I am usually playing when reset comes around. It CAN get very tedious, though, even if I have zero lag, when I am tired. When I finish my Paladin Alts and see my first Warlock Alt, I know I have only three more characters to go! What a relief! 🤣 {:o:O:}

Thank you, Aragon, for guiding us through this hellhole. I wish they put up a sign saying new players should stay away from this hole.🤕😈It's a game where no action you take has any value. Instead of dealing with this, chasing discounts in the Zen market can bring you a profit of 200 m per day. In the past event, dozens of players farmed huge amounts of diamonds with just the money in their wallets.

I have 36 characters and either 4 or 6 spare slots. Still waiting for the Druid, more than 10 years now. Character slots used to be 500 Zen for 2, IIRC, and they would do 80% Off sales. So I'd buy 10 for the price of 2, 10 slots for 500 Zen. I used to Invoke max times per day religiously, but it's not so easy on 36 characters as it is with 10 or 12. It takes the whole four hours to also do Professions in between. And that's before even doing random queues. I do have a full set of Mythic enchants, though, and 72 BtA Coal Motes and about 600 Coffers I've not opened yet. I always get 3 to 5% Coal drop rate. {:o:O:}

I don't play alot. It took me 10 months casual play (with just VIP) to get to 85k+ I'm only VIP 10 or or just 11. It is possible with money :) and following guides like Aragon posts. I was so green I was stuck on 37k for a month or so, because i thought we gained XP through killing stuff, lol

Silly comment. U can reach end game in a few months. Of casual play. With a few freinds to help you into the hardest trial or dungeon in less then 3 months. With 0 dollars invested. Just because you can't do it doesn't mean it can't be done. For those reading the comments and being dissuaded. Go find a good active guild. Ask questions. And be willing to accept advice. It's alot closer then you think. Gl hf.

@@sydclark5581yeah lol, I screwed up and wasted time trying to end game with a fighter it didn't work out. Fighter sucks. But I can learn to tank on it. I started over with a rogue. I'm 87 item level. And I do do dungeons with an active guild. Getting everyone together at the same time though is sometimes hard. Sometimes I can only play an hour every other day. I've only been back to the game for 2 yrs. I quit playing about 1 yr after it came out. The game has changed a lot. I'm still getting use to it ..I guess.

Evoking on 9 toons or more is such a dedication to the game, I'd seriously think about your life goals (im not taking about anyone who plays this amount, not tageting anyone in particular). Ive played one year (started during the Siege event last year) obviously not every day. I have around 320 of thise coins so that shows you i dont play everyday nor do i double the Celestial coins prey thing regular as i dont play for multipal hours (nevermind on 9 toons). For the record, I've yet to recieve ANY coal motes.

Well, if you only invoke on about 320 days that would be like... less than 30 coffers, and the coal motes are pretty much one drop in twenty coffers, so you don't really stack the odds in your favor... and it's only a chance you know, there had been times I'd open close to a 100 and get none. Thus the point of having multiple character in that regard at least. I got 20 myself, and regret not having the full roster instead, but will never really do it due to how annoying leveling is nowadays. Even the idea of just going through neverdeath 30 more times makes me shudder... But all in all, invoking once a day is pretty quick, even on many characters. Now going through the whole invoking every day is huge work in comparison and not worth it imo. Firstly, it requires you play the game 4h30 per day bare minimum to cover all the cooldowns, and that's just not my case most days. Secondly, that's 5 times more cycles of summoning, for only double the coins, that's will be a nope for me

it takes like 4 minutes of your time to invoke every day lol. it's honestly super easy to keep up when you get into the routine of logging on, getting your key, invoking, crafting and then running whatever content you wanna run.

character slots are probably more valuable in the long run than VIP cause of all you can do with a bunch of alts... also 10 bucks will get you 16/60 character slots. it's hardly a cash grab. i've been playing for 5 years and still only have the 9 characters.

I support the game by getting Vip. All other items on the zen market are a scam to steal $ from new players. The company running this should have a class action lawsuit for illegal gambling. Gambling I say? Yes. Any key bought in this game is gambling. Any loot box with any random reward is gambling. All that worthless ass shit the devs post on the zen market is either a scam to unsuspecting new players or gambling. Buyer beware.

@@Trick_415 maxing out the characters is how people get rich in neverwinter but ok lmao. A lot of the stuff on the zen market isn't worthwhile. Keys on their own aren't worthwhile but there's some stuff that's quite good.
