@Box no it doesn’t. Just compare Ronaldos work rate with any of liverpools front three. If Ronaldo doesn’t participate in liverpools pressing, the opponent will always have one player open that Ronaldo would have had to cover. Klopps tactics rely on their pressing scheme. Clearly individualy Ronaldo is the better player, still as a team they would get worse with him.

The liverpool guy is so spot on. Klopp wouldn't take Ronaldo. He doesn't fit how Klopp plays. "Bruno workrate is decent but disorganised.". This is why United fans don't know why they are not gonna win. The defending starts from the front. "United need Ronaldo because they need a hero". This guy is spot on. United are a team of superstars. Liverpool are a real team.

Even before the thrashing on the weekend I genuinely wouldn’t take a single United player because none of them would get into Klopp’s team. Liverpool have 5 centre backs better than Maguire, 2 left backs better than Shaw, 7 midfielders that would play ahead of Bruno & Pogba and Ronaldo would be fighting Origi to try & get on the bench.

Literally the dumbest debate. Klopp is praised as a manager because he was able to take a team of a lot of underrated players and create a system that works to get the best out of each player. As a Man U fan I can say no Man U players get into that team (maybe pogba) because it’s LIVERPOOLS SYSTEM.

I don't think Pogba would get into the team. We play such a high line and our full backs are almost like wingers that the midfielders need to be on the brake and be alert and not get carried away in going forward. We concede a lot of goals because we press so high even though we are dominating a game. Ironically, even though United fans would prefer Pogba and Fernandes they would never work in Liverpool and Klopp would probably prefer Fred and Mctominay

I could see Varane getting in, the rest are just diabolical. Goldbridge kept changing the rules. Wanted De Gea in for his Form over 2 months but looked at the last 18 for Shaw, picked Pogba on his international Form and picked Ronaldo on his Form from 10 yrs ago.

Regardless of today's result, it annoys me that Henderson is always slagged of by so many. He's the best captain in British football and drives his team forward. He should be the first name on any team sheet especially for England, he absolutely should be captain and he would be driving us as a team.

In terms of ability, flair, pulling a rabbit out of a hat in clutch situations, Pogba is the best pick. In terms of leadership, consistency and commitment, Henderson is the best pick. This is why choosing an individual player in football as being better than another is always debatable. You have to choose according to the qualities they bring relative to the qualities of the other players in the team.

The Henderson thing is weird. In terms of talent there is no comparison Pogba is hugely more talented and has a very high ceiling. BUT for the Liverpool system, I'd take Henderson over Pogba, Henderson is absolutely essential, the way we perform without him is night & day, his energy, leadership, reliability, positional awareness, accountability and he so often plays the ball before the assist, out to Trent or Robbo for a cross or into the front 3 to dribble/shoot inside & around the box. So genuinely, if we were offered a trade, Henderson for Pogba I'd keep Henderson and I think Klopp would too.

Honestly this is why I don't really like "Put opposition player into team X" type thing when two teams face each other. It's not just about individual skill but also how the player fits into the team, the team style etc. I do feel Rambo is correct in that Klopp wouldn't take Ronaldo right now, Ronaldo as brilliant as he is wouldn't fit into the style of play, the pressing game especially. To bring him in would change a system that works and likely end up with Liverpool not playing as well as they are. Sometimes it's not about the best player. But the right player, in the right position, in the right team, in the right style. Hendo is that for Liverpool

Robertson's dip last season was because of nonstop playing. The guy plays the entire season plus CL games. United fans should understand such a drop in form given Bruno played nonstop as well.

United fan here and I really don't understand the Shaw overhyping. He had one decent season in like 7 years for us and after yesterday's disasterclass, I don't think there should be anymore debate even left. That said, I do strongly think that his ceiling has always been higher than Robertson, and with a coach like Klopp, he could've done wonders. As things stand, however, Robertson over Shaw any day.

Not a single United player would get in this Klopp Liverpool 11. The reasons would revolve around work rate, attitude, and straightforward 'fit'. These United individual players don't fit into the Liverpool style of play.

That 0-5 was incredible! Klopp told his players to stop scoring after red card, it could've been 0-10! Im a LFC fan but normaly at OT, united turn up regardless of form. But at the same time our quality is levels ahead of theirs. Non the less surprising result and unbelievable feeling to be a fan right now. The only United player that gets in Liverpools team is CR7 on the bench.

The question in title is missing the point massively imo. There are plenty of players in the Utd squad that have the same level of ability as LFC players but you only get in the Liverpool squad if you fit the system LFC plays and that's the difference at the moment...LFC is a finely honed machine within which players are interchangeable (within reason...not so much when you're down to your 7th centre-back, like last season!). Utd is lagging years behind in terms of data analytics, coaching etc and still relying on individuals to get them out of a hole.
