I call this kind of nonsense "art science" and I love it! For sure though, this just kind of firmly places me back in the "I think I probably don't want to try and start using markers" camp, which I kept tentatively peeking my toes out from. I'll stick to my gazillions of dollars of watercolor paint, instead. =>.

-just a penguin- I used lots of brand, but I think the good and probably worth it is "Winsor & Newton". It might be a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it more than buying expensive copies 😂 and less expensive too.

Ohuhu markers is more worth it than Copic markers I know you can refill it but ohuhu markers. Are still more worth it because without refilling it can fill 9 pages.

Here’s the translation; Ohuhu markers are more worth it besides Copic markers. I know you can refill it but with Ohuhu markers, they can fill up 9 pages. Hope this helped?

You should try and do an illustration in just markers, it might be a challenge for since you mostly use colored pencil... But hey you might decide you also like markers

Jack Kristensen marker* well millions of professionals use it. So I don’t know whats you’re talking about x3. Its best to buy refills though, cuz it costs way more to throw away the marker and buy a new one.

Its reddish because it has a purple undertone therefore making it a shade of indigo one out of many in the copic brand

There are warm blues and cool blues. Warm blues have tints of red and yellow in them. Most colours have a warm and a cool version. Ever wondered what exactly the difference between Prussian blue, midnight blue, Pthalo blue etc was? It is the richness of pigment and the tints of other colours. So yeah, blue colour can be reddish, greenish, greyish etc.

Copics are very nice with blending, and a lot of artists prefer the brush side (like me). The kind of triangle side is a chisel tip, and the squishy brushy side is a brush tip. Gravity does help by the way! I always have my markers facing down, or just laying on their side. I do recommend Copics to any artists that wanna work with markers. Just a warning though, they are pretty expensive. A pack of 5-6 usually costs about $50+ in USD. As said in the video, 1 marker can be $6-$7. I think the cheapest I've seen a Copic is on dickblick.com (AN AWESOME ART STORE LET ME JUST SAY). To get a single marker is about $5 on that website, so yeah. You can also buy refills, but a lot of times they will cost more than the marker ;-; They are also alcohol based, so they may stink up your area if you're drawing A LOT. There are many techniques to use when coloring with these markers, like splattering, and blending techniques, etc.

I like bananas yeah its perfect for school. They don't give you super advanced projects (at least at mine) but it'll last long enough. I first realized the low quality of them when I tried to blend because I wanted to make hair. They wouldn't blend at all. They're good for beginners though

The brand artists loft has great markers and they blend well and last long! I'm just a beginner and I drew a really pretty realistic picture!
