@@wilsonalfando7393 The first thing to you is Australian pull ups, then jumping pull ups, then negatives and finally you do pull ups. A good thing to do is this. 4 sets of 12 reps The set should last from 45 seconds to a minute for gains And you rest from 30 to 45 seconds between sets. Do drop sets of this stile like do 4 sets of 12 reps of jumping pull ups and then do 4 sets of 12 of Australian pull ups. You'll get stronger in less than 2 weeks and will be able to do 3 to 5 normal pull ups. Train hard and eat enough protein for your muscles to get stronger. I think is like 2 grams of protein for every kilogram of bodyweight to get a good result. Ps:I'm from Mexico so I don't know pounds and that stuff

My pr is 49 after training for 90 minutes. a buddy of mine challenged me, he got to a respectable 18, but I was on fire that day ^^ normally I get distracted or bored and just let got after 15-20. If you can do 20, start doing weighted pull-ups or start practicing 1-arms - weighted I did +50 kgs (95 kg myself) and 1-arms I could do only a couple back then.

@Ray Ward it's easier to do pullups if you're lighter
@asuraa3912
@asuraa3912 5 жыл бұрын
But, the heavier you are, the more muscle that you can have to more easily do a pull-up. If you are too light, you don't have enough muscle mass to do them. Magnus is light with mostly upper-body weight. Magnus is stronger with bodyweight exercises bc he has more muscle mass compared to his body weight than the other dude.
@asuraa3912
@asuraa3912 5 жыл бұрын
The person that has 20kg of muscle will probably greatly outstrip the person that weighs 60kg in bodyweight exercises. Now someone that is 110 kg with 50 kg of muscle will most likely lose against someone with 60 kg of weight and 30 kg muscle.

@@JayyyCloud yet this guy looks better than bodybuilders. He is pretty lean, and looks more natural like a human being. Not like a manipulated, augmented, roided body. Oh...not ment like hate btw...I used to be a bodybuilder;)

@@jarand90 thats such a biased statement, he doesn't look better than bodybuilders, have you seen Shawn Rhoden? Considered the best looking bodybuilder ever. Magnus looks great for his sport, don't discredit bodybuilders just because they can do something you cant. With or withour steroids.
