great video...thank you! I have 12/12 seine twine for warp at 860 ypp 2 ply wool. I have so much stock in many colors so would like to use for tapestries and sampling... I'm thinking I would use a sett of 10 epi ? or maybe 8...I'm stumped, I guess I will sample..only have a 15 and 10 dent reed. for my smaller floor loom. I guess it wouldn't work if I sleyed the 10 dent reed as 1 2 1 1 2 1 for 8 dent like you can with regular weaving? didn't want to use my 45 inch loom for tapestry. your videos are so informative and love your approach to guiding us in tapestry...My book of yours should arrive Monday...can't wait.

Great video, thank you. When you plied your wefts on the wheel, did you go through the trouble of setting the twist, or just wind them on the bobbin?

+Mystic Handworks Oh definitely not. I wind the yarn right into balls or butterflies. It would be possible to put balls of yarn into a steamer to set the twist, but I don't think it'll matter quite frankly. Tapestry gets all smashed together unlike knitting where you can really see the character of the yarn.

+Rebecca Mezoff, I was in hopes that was your answer. As a spinner, it's the next logical step, but that would add a whole day to prepping my weft bundles. It takes yarn a lot longer to dry in Florida.

Wonderful video, thanks! Could you hazard a guess on the wpi of the Faro yarn? I've been spinning some yarns at about a 20-22 wpi with the intent of tapestry weaving, but I wonder now if I should spin a higher wpi (something in the 28-32 wpi range).

I don't think it is that thin (28-32). Probably would be fingering weight but it is quite firm (not lace weight).

Thanks. I'll shoot for something in the 24 wpi range.
