Mark is such an advocate in the Australian startup space. He’s present and is keen to attend or speak at many events. It’s cool to hear him let his hair down so to speak and just talk and cuss and show he’s a humble human. With all the wealth he has, he reinvests so much time back into people and sharing his knowledge. Like Marks podcast featuring Span, this is epic content! Love it!

Definitely needs to be teaching this at school.. the real life learning and lessons would be far more productive and successful than lessons in random things that will never be used.. I don't think I have ever needed to use algebra and trigonometry.. people who need it for their life choices and careers, go ahead learn and use it, but it's lost on others. Life lessons and real life experience from people like this are the future!

I recognise that people hold diverse opinions, but my purpose is to provide honest insights. After WW2 there is a lot of US propaganda about a threat from Russian communists. Not in Greece. There was no threat from Russia after WW2. It was Churchill who started the civil war in Greece. Just like it was the British who started all the trouble in Cyprus in the 1950s-70s. Anyone who thinks the British Empire did anything humanitarian is delusional, indeed. The UK, the US and Australia are the most Propagandist nations. During World War II, Winston Churchill's focus was indeed on preserving the British Empire, including the strategic routes to India and the Middle East. It is documented that Churchill advocated for campaigns in regions like Italy, which some argue diverted efforts from a more direct engagement in Western Europe. Discussions between Churchill and Stalin did contribute to the post-war division of Europe. Churchill's support for the British Empire is well-documented, and his views on empire is also well-documented. The British Empire's history includes instances of severe exploitation and atrocities, which have been widely criticized and are part of the historical record. In fact, in 1938 Churchill made a deal with Hitler, to attack Russia ..In WW2 Churchill's main interest was not Germany, it was the British Empire, to preserve the road to India and the Middle East, etc. Churchill fought the entire war with the concept of preserving the British Empire. All his goals. In fact. Churchill even sent America on a Goose chase into Italy, instead of establishing a sincere second front in Western Europe, to help Russia. Hitler could have wiped out the British at Dunkirk. Churchill and Stalin's negotiations led to the division of Europe, which the Americans referred to as liberation. Churchill was a royalist and pro-Empire. The British Empire engaged in brutal acts of plunder and committed genocides across nearly a quarter of the world for profit. Churchill, who had his own issues with racism, fought against Hitler, a man responsible for the deaths of millions. Subsequently, Hitler was vilified. Many of Hitler's ideas and plans were influenced by the British and American empires, which also caused the deaths of millions. After Hitler's death, Stalin and the Russian communists became the new adversaries. "Greece single-handedly defeated the Italians" is often neglected in British and American history. Also neglected is the fact Greece never gave Churchill any permission to enter Greece with armed forces. Greece said that it would aggravate Hitler. And when the British arrived the Greeks expected arms and weapons but all the British had were WW1 weapons and they couldn't even speak Greek. My father described the British presence in Greece as quite pathetic. The German invasion, which followed the unauthorized British establishment, allowed German forces to advance from their controlled regions. Numerous British and some Greek soldiers were captured by the Germans and transported to POW camps in Germany; however, many were killed in bombings, and a few who escaped made their way back to Greece. There was a significant desire among the Greek population for the British to depart, as they were perceived as ineffectual and accused of committing heinous crimes against Greek civilians. The Normandy landings occurred because Churchill and Roosevelt feared that the Russians might conquer all of Europe before the Americans could intervene. The idea of invading Europe from Sicily was impractical, as crossing the mountains into Germany from Northern Italy would have been a logistical nightmare. This was the extent of American involvement prior to June 1944, by which time the war was nearing its end. The 80th anniversary of D-Day was marked in a manner that some perceived as overshadowing the significant role of Russia, which was instrumental in defeating Nazism, yet was not present at the commemoration. Instead, Zelensky was honored as a guest. The Battle of Normandy did not mark the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany; rather, it was the monumental victories on the Eastern Front, such as Stalingrad and Kursk, that led to the downfall of Hitler. In the 1950s, the US CIA's involvement in Greece led to the overthrow of the Greek government and resulted in the deaths of thousands in Cyprus. Greek children suffered torture at the hands of the British and Turks. The war crimes committed by US-NATO, the British, and the Turks were egregious. The full extent of these war crimes is indescribable. Half of my family was killed, and our homelands were looted by the British and Turks. The inability to return to our homeland is frequently ignored by the Western world.

I think, I know its an unpopular opinion, please study and go to university. No matter what you wanna do down the track, please go to uni. There are several things that university gives you. Even if you take an arts major. It will show to the world and to yourself that you can do something and stick with it for 3-4 years. A alot of unsuccessful people cant do that. It can teach you how to take vast amounts of information and find a way to understand it very easily. Lastly it will give you skills of dedication, knowledge, connections and a sense of accomplishment. Very important for a young person to have. IMO
