I was offered a unit at Bilga and having grown up in Duffy's prior and moving away for nearly 15 years into private housing I knew what it can be like... so I went there and parked in the street one day to watch see how it was, It was actually a nice unit inside it was what was going on outside that bothered me, then I got offered a unit on Portland Cres Bra boys above me fights and cops there almost every day and night but it didn't phase me as Spanian said when you you're one of the lads when you know you know. I then ended up back In Duffy's due to health reasons life has it's twists and turns. Some people are in housing for life and some are just visiting. I remember Ian as a young lad round here there are many others that came to the areas from rich families and turned their entire lives up side down and I've seen people that lived in housing do well and get out and become great contributing members to society... I watched kids that came from money and that didn't save them when they came to the hood, and so many no longer with us as the hood ate them with all the drama that it CAN bring!

I’m from Daceyville and it’s not that bad. In fact, it’s mostly a senior dominant area where everyone knows each other. Majority people living here have been here since the 90s or so, and for the most part it’s a chill area. You got the odd block of flats & town houses which you passed that attract a sketchy crowd lol, but otherwise no dramas. Also, a lot of the places are being sold once the tenants pass away or move out, in the next 10 years I reckon Daceyville won’t be a houso-dominant suburb anymore.
