In this video, we're diving into the story behind Deadpool, the wisecracking antihero we all know and love. We'll explore how Rob Liefeld created Deadpool's look and name, but it was Joe Kelly who made him the funny, fourth-wall-breaking character he is today. We'll also talk about the comparisons to DC’s Deathstroke and why comic book fans are okay with Marvel and DC borrowing ideas from each other.

Deathstroke and Deadpool are very different, sure they look similar, but in terms of personality, Lobo and Deadpool would be on a similar level

Deathstroke is such an underrated modern dc villian. The one thing ima hold a grudge against the dceu (other than the first suicide squad) for the solo Ben affleck Batman vs deathstroke movie

Rob said where he got his inspiration from. He got it from his friend Todd McFarlane. He said Deadpool was his take on Spider-man with guns.

@@drelixcomics Rob Liefied based Deadpool's look on the concept of, "What if Spider-man used guns?". Only the his backstory is based on Deathstroke , and that was by Fabian. Taskmaster looks more like Deathstroke than Deadpool, because their looks were both created by the same artist.

I love Deathstroke better because he’s so dark and goes thru some pretty horrific things Deathstroke also uses more tech than Deadpool giving his character more depth

Hey in your comic series, my opinion you should make a cicada faction the males would have the ability of hyper-sound which would be strong and females would be strong and faster flyers but cicada faction would be the rarest but that's just my opinion and you do what you want to they're your comics

when i first saw and heard about Deadpool being a copy i immediately though well death stroke can't be a better character if he was overshadowed by Deadpool right? and not to make people angry but i think i was and am right, i mean Deadpool is a character that you can do so much with while i see death stroke always being limited to a certain extent he is a well written character but as time passes i see Deadpool getting much more better than him in terms of story and character.

@@LightningAdrian I asked around in my city for a book printing company and then explained to them what I was doing when we met in person. After that I just partnered with them tbh.

Deadpool got his powers from wolverine healing factor ladt i remember in the comics and is a mutate not a super soldier slade was them trying to make a serum to make them immune to trusth serum and it accidentally made him get his powers not doing a complete defense just saying what i remember about the characters
