Really appreciate your compliments on the behalf of the modding community! I would like to call attention to the developers though as they take a ton of time out of their schedule to help modders fix issues as well as providing the framework we use to make our content

Honestly I feel like the main difference is that, in official they give you maybe 2 options but its both in the same kind of scheme of what THEY want you to do. But with a mod, you get so many options of what YOU want to do. PT rex can be an ambusher, small game hunter, bone breaker, tank, whatever. POT rex can be like a bone breaker or a tank

Path of Deimos server 1 has an event that happens when the moderators are online. IC erupts and fire consumes Grand Plains until rain comes and brings new life to IC which completely changes the look and play style in that area

Regarding the bipedal iggy run: In my opinion biped iggy just looks ...more right?I dont know,quad iggy looks like they took iggy's model and slapped it onto stego's sprint.Maybe if they reanimated the quad iggy,or made it have 2 stances like lambeo and para.

Besides the beaked pachy (that thing can burn) yeah good video and have to agree with this. Mods help a lot and even just having the game mode be modified is a lot of fun ya just don’t see on officials.

I kinda find it sad that people like the game, not because of the devs, but because of the modders. Like imagine you made a game and people think that this game is trash without the mods and that the official playables suck, and that when the new update happened not a lot of people played the game because of no mods, and people are constantly making re makes of the officials saying that they’re way better then the originals, that would kinda suck.

I’m waiting for them to add nesting and more realism-based AI and quests. I want to play a survival game not a dino battle Royal game 😂 sure there’s health, food and water and growth but with no nesting or groups to tie the point of survival together the fun looses its spark

The thing i dont like about PoT is you dont get any sense of hunting, no real sense of being a predator. If they can implement something along those lines and make it a bit darker i think it good be good.

I think it’s really rad to see all the hard work that the community puts in! Although I personally play on officials, and like the base game, I have to admit most of the mods are nothing short of impressive and near endless.

Hey! Officials player here, i want to say that official path of titans really isn’t that bad. having been playing on community before playing on officials i switched to officials for 3 reasons, 1 mods can be a hassle to deal with, while modders do tend to do phenomenal jobs on their playables, it has to be mentioned that most mods just entirely outcompete the vanilla roster or are incredibly unbalanced (looking at you divine beasts) 2 community servers tend to devolve into hotspot cuddle puddles, while on officials, players are actually spread up. 3 officials are just, honestly chaotically fun, you get experiences out of officials you just dont get in other servers, all this is to say that yes, mods are a great and necessary addition to path of titans, but the games official servers always tend to be full for a reason, because the game is just straight up enjoyable to play.

I appreciate Modding from afar - it's been proven that modding keeps games alive as community drives engagement long past development. Skyrim is just one example. I however will say I am an official enjoyer and get sick to my stomach seeing modded creatures. I appreciate the time and effort that goes into them, however, from an outsider's perspective, they're too OP. Why play an OG dino that focuses on one niche when you can play this modded creature that's a power house, does bleed, venom and bonebreak. Although some OG dinos still need love (POT's still in early development and not all kits are fleshed out) I feel they're closer to balanced compared to several modded creatures - IMO. I find it strange how people say the officials are dying, or 'people are leaving the official servers in droves' or something akin to that. How do people know, are there statistics that people can look at? Because of the way you join match making, you can't see the actual population on the official servers like you can see BOB's for example. Just seeing a handful of players say 'I'm leaving the officials because of xyz reason' isn't an accurate representation of how the officials are right now. I for one LOVE the wild west feeling of the official servers. The feeling of never being safe, outnumbered and there being someone out there that can easily kill you. It's a thrill of whittling a clan down to the point to where they switch servers, outsmarting someone or just getting someone to rage in global is enjoyable to me and my friends. The fact that I don't have to pull out a MASSIVE book of rules before I interact with someone and the whole... 'I'M RECORDING YOU! RB RB RB!'. On the officials, I'm free. But again, I do appreciate modding and community servers from a far, I just don't belong there and I get it lol.

I would play on moded servers more but i don't like how the mods seem to be overtuned in terms of stats/abilities. They outperform the standard roster most times than not and that seems to me kinda lame. I mean i get why they do it. More plp will Play their playables If they are stronger than the rest but still i so not like it

I wanted try this game for a really long time but I have no clue if it's worth my money + there is more interesting games than this one. I've heard really bad opinions about nerfs and balancing ingame. Also I can't find anywhere how much people play this game, if it's not half dead or something

90% of the modded dinosaurs are imbalanced... Sure. You think about it? Can you really blame them? Nobody wants to make a dinosaur that's slightly worse than the pre-existing dinosaur in the game already. But it makes me mad when a dinosaur that shouldn't be able to face tank is sitting there knocking out apexes or mid-high mid-tiers with no sweat

This game is gonna die regardless. Eternal long updates. They focus on Dino and Dino reworks when the real issue is the gameplay. Unfortunately this game has no late game potential. It’s extremely boring after you reach adult. It has potential to be a great game but it’s lacking in so many areas that the Devs refuse to emphasize on.
