I can’t believe it’s already been 4months. Great content on accountability and transparency. Even good for the vision of the brand as per franchise. Hopefully some can start the first franchise in one of Accra neighbourhoods or even in Kumasi. Not a bad return and hopefully business get better as you progress. I like what you said about marketing. It doesn’t matter how good a product or service is, if it’s not marketed or promoted properly no one will know about it. You can do it Nana, I look forward to more amazing stories about the business.

And you truly believe that it is a bad idea to pay taxes? Have you ever lived and worked on any Western country? Where do you think the governments in these countries get their revenues to develop their countries?

Is that 18-20 month payback including the rent? As in, in theory someone who doesn't need to rent would get quicker payback?

@mercyabraham9925 hi Mercy, yes you have to pay taxes directly to GRA. Paye taxes(for your employees) & annual income taxes. I advice that you go to any GRA office in the neighborhood the shops will be in and register with them. They'll help you set up. It's quite easy actually.

Am venturing into that and it is really depressing for me…. But am rather going for the container type and am doing groceries, wine & maybe something later on Please do you have major places you got the groceries at moderate wholesale prices? And please what’s the estimated capital to start with😢

Why is it depressing you, Diamond? Because if you are not sure it's the right one,then don't do it. With wholesale, I have come to learn there's nothing like moderate prices. The more you buy, the cheaper it is everywhere. Capital for this is between 100k to 200k (rent, inventory & fixtures included)
