I reposted this here. ---> Tall Women die more often alone, Tall Women have fewer children or more often no children, Tall Women have fewer relationships with Men, Tall Women have less Sex, Tall Women are more depressed, all this because a Tall Woman is waiting for a Tall Man; but Tall Men want Short Women not Tall Women. So, Tall Women are themselves their bane of their existence. Now...this next sentence is hard as I forget what this is called, but the crank/angle in a Woman's neck is important, at a certain age this is the angle She had to tilt her head up to look at her Father, maybe when She was 4-5 years old. As an adult; this is what She instinctively is looking for, it usually tends then to be a 6'2"-5" Man. So, in a World where all this is true, Tall Women pass on Men shorter than them; and without knowing; they die a little each time.

I'm 5'7". I was rejected by a woman shorter than me specifically because I wasn't over 6' tall. But I've also been pursued by women taller than me. And most of my relationships were with women around my height. Based on my experience, it just depends on the woman. I never thought a 5'11" female high jumper would be interested in me, but she was. And I never thought a woman shorter than me would reject me over my height, but she did. My advice is to take care of yourself, be fit, and present yourself well. There's nothing you can do about your height so don't even give it a second thought. The right ones will like you and the wrong ones won't.

Yep and I see men blaming women for all modern dating problems but I try to tell these guys that men have caused big problems too. The simps have hurt things in a big way. I just was on another social media site and a very average looking 51 year old woman posted a picture of herself and in a few minutes she had 1000s of likes and compliments from simps. There were even a few simps that were wanting to buy her outfits and I just shook my head in disgust .. what’s worse is I don’t think this problem can be fixed

It can b remedied, if and only if, people tried to look outside their bubble and realized that there’s a world out there, and there’s immense beauty and incredible ideas/norms out there. 🙄 There’s a reason y nature prefers variety and connections.

It's probably not a direct prejudice but a vicious or virtuous cycle. The child that grows up tall gets rewarded, encouraged, and has advantages for opportunities which leads to further opportunities and advantages. The opposite being true for exceptionally short people. This is a systemic part of the culture. This has lead to a strong correlation that height greatly predicts the winner of presidential races. Which has led some candidates, possibly Desantis, to wear lifts and special shoes.

It's similar to how we all prefer women with say, a more generous posterior or bust, or a beautiful face, but plenty of us would be willing to date a thinner girl, or even a girl who's pretty but isn't stunning (I can't tell you how many times I've found a girl beautiful who would not make the cut for a modeling gig, but I still found her very pretty; they're not ugly, just not stunning - you know the phenomenon I'm talking about brother,), if she had a lot of other qualities we valued, and it happens every day. It's the same for women in my experience. They don't value the same things we do mind you, but they're willing to make a trade off for other qualities they want. Build yourself up in those areas, make yourself valuable, and height won't prevent you from finding someone to share your life with, not working on those other factors will. Just look around and tell me with a straight face that shorter than average men can't be with great women, and that all women only get romantically involved with 6 foot rich guys. Exactly.

I have a hard time believing that tall women have it worse than short men in the dating market. The average male height on dating apps is 6'1? Why? Dating app users probably skew younger, so taller. Men are likely to lie about their heights. The shortest men are likely to not even bother with dating apps.

Women on dating apps swipe left and right the vast majority of the time based on facial attractiveness. Sure, some women will not match a dude because he is not 6 feet, but that is a small percentage of women.. Dudes with attractive faces also have a way better chance of that women actually meeting him and taking it serious... Average face guys that list themselves as 6'4 and receive matches may talk with the women for a bit, but the woman is way more likely to be hesitant to actually meet him

No kidding, I’ve actually heared in IRL from some, one of them being a particularly beautiful woman who was herself around 5’9 / 5’10 who told that she preferred the proportions of men being on the shorter spectrum - but yeah, those of course are the minority - but then you also have to consider, when women say tall, we often overestimate what they are looking for in real life (and broad shoulder and other features can compensate quite a bit) - only online dating with a focus on numbers is kinda toxic in terms of height preferences
@cseptember6562
@cseptember6562 19 күн бұрын
@@JeffreyWongOfficial Sure women like that exist but they are outliers. I think when women say tall they mean 5'11 and up. That is where a noticeable difference from average height (5'9) begins. I dont think that is an overestimation. When most say tall they mean relative to the height of other men not to their own height. I dont think a 5'2 girl would consider a 5'8 or 5'9 man tall even though they have decent height difference. I also think the impact of broad shoulders is overvalued. Its not a make or break trait like height can be and it only really helps taller men. I doubt a short guy with broad shoulders would see any significant boost from it.

@@cseptember6562 well, there still are plenty of shorter/average height guys with girlfriends. In academia for example you often see intellectual overachievers with beautiful and highly educated women despite them being not exactly overachievers in the height department. So yeah, I think - also for women (who aren’t by any means a homogenous hivemind) - we men are a mixed bag of traits, similar to how women are to us. Some features society and you might value higher than others (usually on an individual basis), yet it ultimately is a blend of those. I think it's important to emphasize the sources being cited (Speed-dating, Dating Apps, Stated Preferences). It is all low-engagement first impressions. Vibes and actions are significantly more important when it comes to attracting women (for long-term relationships), and that just doesn't bear out in those kind of environments. I guarantee, if you compared the kinds of men women have dated/are dating to their stated preferences, there would be major discrepancies. This is even true with men when it comes to valuing girls' looks. The reality is that if you meet someone you click with (emotionally, comedically, whatever) you would date them in a heartbeat even if they didn't quite meet your ideal preferences.

I really just have an issue with the people who grossly exaggerate woman's standards and/or use their own physical attractiveness as an excuse for why they aren't pulling. Most people can look decent if they try to, so long are they aren't obese or deformed or something. The reality is most of the guys complaining about this shit either are already attractive enough or at least have the potential to be, but they either aren't talking to enough women or are too social inept to successfully court one. It's also possible their own standards are too high. Approximately 70% of women on dating apps won’t accept a man below 6 foot. 85% won’t accept a man below 5’10” (the average height in tall countries). It’s over.

I am a medium man (175 cm; 5'9"), and I have a strong fondness of taller women. It's difficult to get a date with one, because women over 175 cm are already rare, and (as you said), most of these rare women only consider men who are even taller than them.

as a legit 5'10 person (was measured 179cm at doctors office, which is not accurate imo, im more 177-178 later in the day), I never get called short. Infact I've been called tall a few times (obviously only by old people/asians, not young people). But that's because most people add 1-2 inches to their height, so most people claiming 6ft are probably my height. So yeah, never experienced height discrimination (besides in my family as my brothers and dad are all taller than me lol)

The de facto cut-off that women insist on imposing is 6'0" on dating apps since they're naturally afforded an abundance of options. It essentially renders any guy below that arbitrary threshold SOL through no fault of his own. And the byproduct of this reality is that it encourages men to lie about their height, which cyclically poisons the dynamic for both parties.

Recently saw on one girl on Hinge put "short men are a crime against humanity" on one of these prompts. While I don't suffer from the height problem myself, I really mirrors how ridiculous women's standards are today. How does a 5'4 female for example have any business to request to not be matched by dudes under 6'2. Seen this way more than once. Even got told once that I am short, at 6'3 lmao.

06:30 Divorce rates are lower for more educated women than for women with some education. There is an interesting bell curve where the most intelligent and most wealthy women and the least intelligent and least wealthy women are more likely to be loyal, supportive, Etc. than the 80% of the women in the middle who aren't particularly smart or cognitively challenged and who aren't particularly weathy or financially challenged.

Other than not being attracted to men over 6ft, I don’t think about height. I have dated short men from 5ft 5 to 5ft 7 ( my second longest relationship )and my husband is 5ft11 which is the tallest man, I have been with and his height had nothing to do with my attraction to him. To be honest, I would take a handsome face over height and build any day. My dad was short but my grandfather who I found intimidating was 6ft2 and my first day at school, I had this horrible teacher (the worst I have ever encountered) and he was over 6ft 2. I think that teacher could be the reason I am put off tall men.

@mk71618
@mk71618 19 күн бұрын
Well 5'9" is the average height for adult males in the US, as Chris mentioned - but someone who's 5'7" is exactly the 25th percentile/shorter than 75% of men, and 5'10" is taller than 60%+ of men. I agree people's perspective on height is really warped and way too much energy's wasted caring about something so superficial and pointless, but they're specifically talking about relative height dating preferences here and the range you gave is pretty huge and not representative of the average, according to the official data (which is publicly available from the CDC's 2015-2016 national height survey, if anyone wants to check it out).
