This is just the general quote for parts not including labor and a tune, just wanted to try to keep up with the uploads and keep you guys some what entertained while we are all on this quarantine. I forgot to mention to keep in mind guys that this is just a general quote! The evo is a great platform if you can find one that hasnt been molested by 16 different owners and the motor wasn't built in uncle titos garage. If you guys work hard enough you can get any car enjoy

Because of your age, find a co-signer if you cant afford to be it outright right there and then. APRs will be pretty high considering you're young and might have little to no credit.

I recommend you pull the ETS piping and check the interior for rust. ETS uses mild steel for their powder coated pipes. It rusts on the inside and potentially can flake into the motor. The piping down by the FMIC tends to collect condensation.

Can’t wait to have mine finished. I’m shooting for 550awhp but super reliable. Started out as a simple rebuild from it overheating. Then aspired into the craziness that is it now. I have around $11-12k into the bay and motor. I’m dying to hear it run again

Man. I got basically the same setUp as ur Evo9. Same Turbo to start off.. I'm putting down 490whp. On E85 ( dynojet) & 415whp (91oct.) Question. Are u also goin to opt. To go with a Dual tune by chance or just E85?

Hey there, I am wondering if you have figured out the Turbosmart wastegate issue since making this video? I actually am experiencing a very similar issue with my Evo 9, turbosmart actuator on a Map Ef3 turbo. Thanks, I would greatly appreciate it, because at the moment I believe my wastegate is stuck open.

bigalleycat861 you probably have an exhaust leak. That sort of noise is usually from an exhaust manifold or something of that nature.

You can do 500hp at the crank on the stock evo9 turbo. You also dont need speed density, or the COP, if you are looking to save money on "overkill" parts.

What do you guys reckon 500hp evo or 500hp r33/34 (non gtr) both similar price for a pretty clean one...which would be better in terms of speed (evo’s AWD so I know it’s got that massive advantage) and a skyline is rear wheel and it’s two door so looks better for me and more fun cause you can drift it and have more fun...which would youse get ?

i would go for the evo, AWD, powerslide, u can fix the evos looks by "for head giant ass windshield, rear window" get a sticker for them like i donno granturismo for example and for the sides wind deflectors makes it look better, thats it the evo is basically a gtr just with 2 clys less but also a legendary engine with racing heritage. sry for my english

500whp is just around the corner when I up the boost and or retune with better flowing do and a bigger cutout. My setup is capable of 500whp simple and clean....I'm at 450whp atm.

500hp. Is the soft spot lots agree with that on the 4G63. I'm doin 490whp. I road race my Evo9 for 4yrz. & Runs great! & super reliable. Just find the rite ppl. To-do the parts install if u aren't able & maintenance is key as well. Do Quality Amsoil, Motul oil etc. I recommend to run 91oct. Mostly on the streets & use E85 for racing purposes cuse also 500hp. Is gonna get u into trouble. It's too much fun! Lol

@@JuanAntonEgo I run 98 oct. Do maintenance every 3k miles. But the car has 110k miles on a bone stock engine. Probably a bit much to start tuning it to that hp now :P

Don’t include an evo X with the 8 or 9. It’s a different beast. I make 500 on my 8, FP red is the best turbo for 500 whp. STM makes the best evo parts on the planet.
